Is functional strength useless?

When are you actually going to use your functional strength besides lifting barbells at the gym?

I use it for most functions.

Basic calisthenics is better for that it also gives functional strength.

if you think hard physical labour is about strength rather than stamina, you've never had one.

Worked farming and construction, and there is no rest time for 4-5hrs straight, 8-10hrs a day are only interrupted by lunch, massive bodybuilders wouldn't last pissing time in those jobs. There is literally no job that needs humans capable of lifting a small house, we have machines for that.

I know hypertrophy is good for a butt because higher reps and low weight equals bigger butt. But what purpose would a strong butt formed by low reps and higher weight have? Would it help with sex pounding a girl or not?
