There's a group of 4 guys who come to my gym together they all look about 15-18

There is a "only uses the lat pulldown machine" kid at my gym. A walking meme. He had some fat half black girl with him one time. It was obvious as fuck he was trying to show off. He did like 3 different kinds of pulldowns and changed the bar like twice (for seated tricep extensions halfway bullshit). Faggot took up the machine for 30 fucking minutes. I see him come in and that is the only thing he will use.

One time in HS i was lifting when I saw one of the dyel black kids benching the bar. I assumed he was warming up. During our rest period we're chatting and he tells me that this is the first time he's benched and he can barely lift the bar. At the time I was 30% bf and my max bench was 165, I thought I was weak af but I was inspired knowing there are skinny people out there who can't even lift half of that

Don't want to be a dick and critique her form, she obviously watched some lifting vids and thinks she is a powerlifter now.

There's been a middle school kid coming in this summer to train with this dude that frequents my gym. The trainer himself is DYEL, the kid is tiny. The kid wears a weight belt to do machine work for about 20 minutes, then his "trainer" does "conditioning" with him. This generally involves doing varied HIIT exercises in the 3 foot path in between the benches. For example, today the kid was passing a medicine ball back and forth while doing box jumps.


Poor kid is gonna end up like his DYEL daddy.

Height and weight? Work on your balance anyway, do bodyweight ATG squats and use a power rack to hold yourself steady.

I've been at my gym for over a year and haven't made any actual progress due to having a good 1 month of progress and then stopping for one reason or another and then having to start back from where i started. At this point I feel like the swole guys that see me around constantly are disappointed in my lack of progress and its making me wonder if i should quit outright. 2 months ago i was benching 1pl8 3x5 finally and then i stopped for 3 weeks because of finals and now im currently back to 115lbs 3x5. Feels real bad.

I've never heard of this up until a month ago on Veeky Forums. Now I see it every time I'm at the gym.

sometimes I can feel the lower part of my lumbar, (might be the last vertebra before the pelvis) kind of "pop", like when you pull on your finger and it releases tension, and my lumbars feel much more relaxed afterwards.

I actually find it easier to squat deep once the weight is up there. When I warn up, and the weight is generally under my BW, it's way harder to go properly straight up and down than when the weight is above my BW.
