SS is the working mans workout. It can take 30 minutes if you just do the 3 main lifts for the day. You won't look good but you will stay strong

Now consider that anyone who's not a complete noob AND ACTUALLY DOING SS will actually take 5-8 minutes between sets, and we're at 1.25-2 hours.
Also, nobody who has a clue what SS really is would call it a "workout". I seriously doubt you've read the book.

Edit: I did SS for a hot minute when I started and for sure did get strength gains, and they left as soon as I did them. Like the user above said though, it never ever took a half hour, especially when I was pushing my limits every week, it did take time between sets. The full five minutes.

1 and 3 is the correct answer. Spending money on shit I don't need is normally a result of me distracting myself from not having a gf/wife. To be healthy and be in a relationship with someone who appreciates you are what I prioritize over money.
