I can't seem to push myself to git fit I always try and do a exercise routine but I end up just stopping.Its been a whole year since I've actually exercised again and I'm only gaining weight now How does a fat neet find the motivation and exercise ?

I am so different than you OP. I train so much that I fucking fry my CNS and now I gotta take 2 weeks off to heal from multiple inflammations and injuries.

i've been through a year of injuries/no lifting during all this time though but still came back stronger than ever
broken toe, motorcycle accident, random sickenesses and now I'm going through a life crisus/depressing phase that has been getting really intense and prolonged

I still lift though, having discipline isn't hard dont be a faggot

i was kind of in the same boat. i just went to the gym and did the excercises i enjoyed rather than forcing myself to do shit. once u see ur getting in better shape youll love it. i cant imagine not going hard every single day now even with shit i dont want to do like squats, hitting that shit for 3 plates x 6 now despite hating them

3) eat healthier meals
4) take a cold shower, or end your shower with cold water
5) go outside and get some sunshine

This will help you overcome the lethargy that is imposed upon us by our modern world. Over time you'll develop a routine that will keep you disciplined. You'll have more energy, and a clear and positive mindset. Junk food will taste exactly like junk food. If you lay or sit down all day you'll feel uneasy.

I just come here everyday and look at goal body threads and stuff like that. The discussions here about being the best you can be and how everyone is gonna make it makes me motivated and excited for each day in the gym. Seeing yourself become better looking and stronger is also a great way to be consistent on fitness, this is the great thing about lifting, no matter who you are, no matter how shit your genetics are, if you commit yourself and do everything correctly you will see your appearance and health improve every day, every month and every year, even if it's a tiny amount.
Another thing that helps me a lot is the fact that I go to the gym during the morning right after I wake up so when I don't go I feel like shit because I don't do anything productive with that time, I just sleep a few more minutes.
Hating yourself is also a great motivator, although it might not be the healthiest. I don't like who I am and how I look right now. I could lock myself up and drown in self pity but I chose to work hard to improve who I am.

With that said, what motivates you will probably be different than what motivates me. And be aware that "motivation" is not something consistent, sometimes you will not feel like going to the gym, when that happens to me I just remember how I felt the last time I skipped a gym day and realise that I will feel much better about myself if I power trough moments of weakness and continue being consistent about what I want in the long run.

exercise is fun if you get past the first few weeks where your muscles will be sore as fuck.
maybe cardio is more difficult to get into as a fatty, but just get some good music going and daydream. if you just went for a walk for an hour that burns a lot of calories.

All you have to do is start somewhere small, if you can only work out once a week at first then so be it, you have to progress from something, it snowballs from there.

Not so long ago I had to force myself to even get my gym shorts on now I spend my walks back revving myself up for the next day.
