You two are retarded. If he gets the surgery, he will lose weight. Thats a big IF though because you have to prove to your doctors that you can go on the liquid diet and stick to it for x weeks. In his case, they're going to be wanting to see a LOT of progress before they sign off on it.

Thats not to say that he won't gain the weight back. If he keeps pushing his boundaries on how much he eats each day, he will eventually peter out on loss and start gaining but it will be a VERY slow process. Stretching your stomach back out to prior levels takes a very long time after a surgery like this and its extremely painful and you barf if you try it quick.
