2 pl8 is heavier in the US than in europe

>2 pl8 is heavier in the US than in europe

>americans are 1lb per pl8 stronger than everyone else

>americans actually count the bar

>be american
>45lb plates
>2.5lb holes
>think pl8 is 1lb heavier, but is really 1.5lb lighter
>tfw you will never be a yuropean.

Hell no, Europe has 25 kilo plates wich are like 55 lbs.

>be tibetan
>lifts are slightly heavier than everyone else's due to being closer to the sun
>ywn be tibetan masterrace

Turns out my gym uses 50lbs plates and 50lbs bars.

Turns out when I had thought I hit a 2 plate bench, I actually hit a 250 lbs bench.

I was wondering why it took so long for me to hit 1/2/3/4.

>what is elementary school physics

>2pl8 = 90lbs american
>minus the bar = 45lbs american
>minus specific gravity = 40lbs american
>minus the holes = 35lbs american
>minus the clips = 30lbs american
>if lifting on or near a new moon, less gravity, so minus that = 25lbs american
>if weights were created at a higher elevation, minus the difference = 20lbs american

>tfw 2pl8 is closer to babby weight
>tfw americans actually think they can compete with the rest of the world

>american standardisation

lol wait, do americans ACTUALLY count the bar?! I thought that was a meme lmao fucking losers

2 pl8 in europe is 20kg bar + 4 x 25kg plates = 120kg

>20 kg plate is really around 18-19 kg in commercial gym
>go to pl gym, everything is heavier, can tell difference when putting only 1 plate on bar and it's also significantly heavier in my bare hands

MY 4PLATE SQUAT WAS A LIE ALL THE TIME

>bar weighs 50 pounds
>weighing something by its monetary value
>next they're going to be deadlifting 80 zloty

americans, we get it, you like money. jesus...

>when you can't tell the difference between reality and memes anymore

I'm in Australia, my gym is some really old-school 1970s equipment.

You're all incredibly unfunny.

oh, so then due to use and erosion, the weights are probably actually less than 45lbs each. so you're probably lifting less than you thought, not more. sorry bro just a fact of life.

I actually fell for that meme and weighed the weights.

They ranged from 48.5 to 51.5. The plates are identical, but one difference is that the faded coloured plates weigh less than the less faded coloured plates.

2 plates in europe = 100kg / 220,462 lbs

2 plates the US = 102,058 kg / 225 lbs

>220,462 lbs
>102,058 kg

k,y,s

good post

I'm European and i still just use the 45lbs plates in my gym. A pl8 is a pl8, m8.

>implying calibrated imperial plates actually exist
top kek

Even shit like Rogue is literally just restamped metric plates.

>European
We wuz greeks and shit

We wuz roman and shit

Germanics and slavics are the only people that adopted the culture, language and laws of the people they destroyed and raped

Hahahahaha

Fucking subhuman people

you mean weights are LESS HEAVY because you are further from the center of the earth...

Honestly I see the 25kg plates only at the leg press machine.

Yeah but Americucks weigh twice as much as Europeans on average.

2 pl8 US = 104 kg
2 pl8 EU = 120kg

UK pl8 is a 25

You both are retarded. Being slightly closer to the sun would make the weight slightly lighter, not heavier. And the closer you are to the center of a planet (or any other round object) the less gravity you experience.

>everything is heavier in the US, starting with the people

no, you're retarded. The higher you are in earth's atmosphere the lighter you will be. The further you get from an object of mass the less it's gravity will act on you. The reverse is true as well. Did you never take high school physics?
