But if you're above 18 you should look to making money. Either part time or full time job m8. Or start selling drugs, steroids, organs, etc.
Start saving up money and try to get an education if possible. Look into more lucrative branches and not "muh psychology major"

I'm 27 as well.
It's just me and my father in this three bedroom 2 bathroom house.
The house is completely paid off.
But we get property taxes every year.
I pay for half of all utilities, half of the property taxes, and pay for my own food/cell phone plan.

I lived here rent free until I was ~23-24, Then I started to pay.

Anyways enough about me....

27 is certainly old enough to start carrying your weight.
How long did you expect them to carry you user?
Into your 30s? 40s?

Take the steps towards become a contributing member of your family unit.
You'll not only feel proud of yourself, but you'll earn the respect of your family.

I suggest asking them about household expenses. get an idea of how much it costs to keep everything running in the house.
Total:
-Food costs
-Phone Bills
-Internet/Cable Bills
-Mortgage/Property Taxes/Rent
-Household expenses (toilet paper, garbage bags, etc)

Then divide that total, by how many adults live in your home.
That will give you an idea of your burden to carry.
