Give me the low down on this supplement. Googled it and got some positive studies but also stories discrediting the benefits.
Also, how much should I take? I have a container that says, "1000 mg" but on the back says 300mg.
Omega-3 Fatty Acids
just a handful
What?
Two pills daily
Take as much as you deserve, but not how much you need right now
just take a bunch of them, what's going to happen?
These bitches are expensive though, so how much is optimal?
just stop being poor
1.5g epa and 1g dha should be enough. Each brand has different content in each pill so it usually comes down to 3 softgels
The brand I have doesn't say how much EPA/DHA. Just says 300mg total omega-3
Just eat actual fish. Sardines and tuna are pretty good.
No thanks. I don't like mercury.
bad advice
good post
>he thinks sardines and canned tuna have significant mercury content
Small fish are safe.
read somewhere to take 2-3g of EPA/DHA combine.
so what im taking is equivalent to 4 pills a day
Alright thanks.
>sugar listed in ingredients
nty, that's worse than mercury.
Did a literature review on Omega's for my Masters last year, basically there isn't much evidence that they do anything at all.
I take around 2-4 pills daily (package says 5 a day) I do have way less joint pain, but that might be becauseI moved to lighter weight, percentage based program, also I rarely eat fish, except for tuna
Contents say:
>1 Capsule 600mg
>450mg Natural Salmon oil/fat (not sure how to translate that)
>E422
>Gelatin
>Omega-3 25% (dunno what this mean)
Not all the oil is omega 3
In one capsule, there's only 25% omega 3
if youre not lieing piece of shit or awful researcher thats actually solid info
I take 6 pills a day, which amounts to approximately 1 g of DHA and 1 g of EPA.
