post your recommendations for god tier workout music. My personal favorite for running and lifting is Sabaton, especially Shiroyama, Lost Battalion, Screaming Eagles, To Hell and Back, and Night Witches. Then again I have a hardon for anything heroic and war-related.
Also recommend Dream Evil, In Flames, and Turisas.
Also, if you do bags for a martial art, Finntroll is a good booster for fighting.
Checked. Some user recommended Mechanica in a previous thread and I can't get enough. Can't go wrong with some Amon Amarth either.

how can one man look so much like a leather daddy yet not be wearing leather?

I'd say a plate vest is similar enough.
Alexander Scott
Amon Amarth everything made by Mick Gordon Hatebreed
Sebastian Gutierrez

K-pop is the only way to do it, it motivates me to smash perfect women

Jester race is some great metal, I feel like modern in flames has went downhill a lot.
Archspire is hype Insomnium's Above The Weeping world is fantastic Wreckage of Stars from black crown initiate is good Atoma from dark tranquility too I like Odyssey to the West by Slice the Cake too but I get why that might not be good lifting music for a lot of people.
Inb4 elitists start ranting about what I listen to while I lift
I second In Flames, great band Also seeing a lot of Amon Amarth in this thread, just started listening to them and they're great

So lately I've been feeling insanely competitive, and the only thing that gets me fired up are >songs about being better than someone/being the best >songs about warriors and battle genre doesnt matter, its all about subject matter >Nothing Personal, Night Riots >Long Live the Chief, Jidenna >anything by Sabaton >Last Man Standing, Hammerfall >Hold thy Heathen Hammer High and Blood of Heroes, by Tyr >Show Yourself, Mastadon >Youre Gonna Go Far Kid, the offspring >A Warriors Call, Volbeat I really dont care if its good music or shit, as long as I can understand the words (not screamo or black metal) and its about overcoming someone or something, it gets me hype as shit. Any recommendations?

Sabaton is sick. Night Witches is part of my gym playlist to, along with Ghost Division, Panzerkampf and Last Dying Breath. This reminds me I should download When The Winged Hussars Arrived.

Trips are asking so I must answer.
Manowar, lifting for the crown and the ring is second to none.

Anyone else find music (any music) too distracting for workouts?

Personally I listen to a lot of Kanye West and other rap, even though I don't listen to the genre often, something about Kanye's ego and the energy of his songs drive me farther than any other music I've tried
The "you can have whatever taste you want bro just dont shit on other peoples taste" position is cancer and belongs on reddit. There's no point in talking about music at all if you're going to be such a fucking relativist.
sabaton is kinda ass there's no way around that

yeah, once it starts to distract me from my workout, which typically happens in the last fifteen minutes of a session. by that point i'm just tired and somewhat irritable
