>11nmol/L (UK, so not sure how that relates to ng/dL)
>NHS "range" is 9 to 35 nmol/L so I don't need TRT
>11nmol/L is the level of an 80 yr old man
My GP explained that TRT is around 100-150mg test a week. A basic steroid cycle is 500-600mg week.
I took the plunge, literally, and it's the best thing I've ever done.
Put on two stone in two months. I literally looked ill before. My Dad died of cancer in January and we joked a few weeks before he was "still not quite as skinny !" (his humour around his death was amazing, but I digress).
My lifts have quadrupled in places, I can eat 4000kcal a day no problem, my confidence and persona is amazing, my anxiety and panic attacks are totally gone, my drive and work ethic is like I'm a different person (and I wasn't exactly a slouch anyway). It's fucking amazing.
I no longer disgust women with my appearance, which is why I considered it in the first place (and there's a long way to go) but honestly, I'd be on gear knowing what I know now just for the psychological aspects, even if it didn't help with muscle growth.
My GP also has full knowledge of my steroid use, and gives me regular bloodwork. My FBC and liver values actually came back healthier after 5 weeks on gear than in the previous 10 years.
The one thing it cannot give you, because you need it before you can start, is the willingness to make a change. to read, to research, to decide, to make a difference in your life. If you can't do that, you don't deserve to change.
