use differin

its simpler loser, go vegan or stay ugly

23 year old with lifelong acne issues, now with relatively clear skin
>cut out dairy
>wash face once or twice daily with unscented mild face soap
>moisturize with sensitive skin lotion after washing/after shaving
>if experiencing breakouts after shaving, periodically sterilize your razor
>wash bedsheets and pillow cases regularly
>get some sun
Having even a little color in your skin hides most blemishes.

Isotretinoin

>>get some sun

ah shit I meant to post "doubt"

fuck it

just lol @ those meme solutions

It's genetics, not much you can do to treat underlying sources. Only apply all kinds of shit to treat the symptoms faster

cut out absolutely anything that involves dairy and report back in 2 weeks with results

Say more about it

The trick to getting rid of acne is to exfoliate twice a Week using witcgtrhdjznz'vs/"":hdwjd//////

>meme solutions
Dairy is proven, the rest is just good hygiene. It's the best you can do to minimize symptoms of a genetic disorder short of prescription meds.
I don't mean tan like a leather bag, but getting vitamin d and not looking like a basement dwelling troglodyte will make even a pimply face look better.

Just b confident :^)

But seriously - I've dealt with acne for a decade. Here's what worked for me (too pussy to take accutane)

Oral antibiotics - doxycycline and septra. Antibiotic resistance is a factor, but doxycycline cleared me up real well for about a year then started to taper off. Possibly kills gains, but I never noticed. Septra is a sulfonamide so it doesn't build resistance as fast, but it also stopped working around 3 years in.

It's worthwhile to note that with antibiotics you're buying time until you get older and it (hopefully) clears up.

Topical antibiotics - clindamycin and metronidazole. I still use both of these to this day and they've kept me clear for the past 2 years or so. For some reason topical antibiotics don't seem to build resistance as quickly (?). Might be broscience. I cycle clindamycin and metronidazole every 6 months or so and that seems to help.

Salicylic acid - keeps the pores cleared and sloughs off dead skin faster. Same with benzoyl peroxide. I don't use either of these anymore because they made my skin a weird color and required a strict regiment (at least with BP), but they work. Note that BP is good for spot treatment overnight, but use a low conc. 2.5% is the most you want to use.

I use a topical vitamin C serum because I live in a sunny area. Seems to keep my pores clear and slough skin faster, too. I recommend this even if you don't have acne.

Then you get into the 'tanes. I don't fuck with them because my skin is too sensitive, but apparently it's the "silver bullet". YMMV

Also, moisturize my nigga.

Regards, dermatology nerd. Judge me.

Can I offer some real advice user? Mine just cleared up beautifully after 4 yrs, wash your face 1-2x a day with carbolic soap, nothing else.

vegans are ugly tho

wash face 3x a day with Benzoyl peroxide 10x then use this 1x a day before bed. It'll start to work after 2 weeks. Best thing I ever did.

>dermatology nerd
You mean cosmetics nerd, fag?

eating better and drinking lots of water.

Sorry this is kinda vague but it depends heavily on the person. Cutting out dairy didnt work for me but cutting out large amounts of processed sugar did.

Id recommend cutting out dairy for 2-3 weeks if that does nothing cut out processed sugar. Ignore skin care products besides gentle clensers. Gut health is also extreamly important so fibre is very helpfull along with antioxidants try light Cranberry Juice for some easy consumable low callorie antioxidants

CLEANSER
TONER
AHA/BHA
HYDRATING SERUM
ACTIVES
MOISTURISER

DRINK WATER LIMIT SUGAR

Dermatology covers skin care and things with acne, not just skin cancer/tags/warts or whatever. He's technically right

literally just eat eggs

I have hormonal acne and this is what i did to avoid getting pizza faced.

> drink a lot of water
> stop eating high gi foods, like sugar and white rice
> minimize dairy
> avoid stimulants like caffeine
> stop playing video games

I've noticed that when i start playing games too much that raises my adrenaline, i get oily skin and my acne comes in full force. Lately i literally dropped playing any games and stimulants and my face is getting a lot clearer.

>dairy is proven
No it's not

Stay ugly then, pizzaface

i''ve had bad acne too
i now only drink water and protein shakes and that's it.
i put a towel over my pillow, and i moisturize once after my morning routine and before bed.
i saw results with his, i also don't watch porn anymore, which i somehow noticed made a difference

also don't touch your face with your barehands

Skin care:
Every morning and every night wash your face preferably once you've gotten out of bed and once your going to bed

Make sure the water is steaming hot and the face towel you use is roughish and not soft. Once you've thoroughly scrubbed your face, put the face towel in the sink with cold wate.

Doing these will get all of your pours expanding and allow you to get the oils out of them, then they will contract with the cold towel and they won't allow any oils in.

Then every Sunday or Monday wash your bedsheets, you don't realize how much body oil lingers on bed sheets.

If acne still persist and has little to no change look into acutane

google.com/amp/s/www.drugs.com/amp/accutane.html?client=safari

Basically it's proactive on steroids

>cut out dairy
care to explain why

accutane is the only thing that got rid of my acne, ate everything i saw and didn't give shit all while staying smooth as a babies butt

Take accutane. Miracle drug. Side effects are annoying but once it's gone your body just can't sustain break outs for more than a day or two. Wish I had taken it sooner.
