Body Fat Estimation Thread

Post up pics if you want your body fat estimated.

It's hard for me to guestimate mine because I'm so biased, but I would say I'm at around 20 percent. I would really appreciate it if you guys could tell me what you think.

I know I have a long ways to go, I'm certainly not ripped by any means (lol) but I am making great progress (lost 40lbs in the last 5 months + doing a half marathon tomorrow).

I plan on continuing to cut until 10% body fat and then start a very slow bulk.

Im 5'7 too i was 257lbs of pure fat, went to 158 in 6 months so i dont have alot of muscle mass always lifting on a cut, also still inflamed from surgery (tummy tuck and pseudogyno)

25%+ sorry. On the brightside it shouldn't be too hard to shed a lot of that. Start walking more and cut bad habits from your diet.

How accurate is the bodyfat measuring method(hips, waist, neck)? I have barely any muscle mass. It says im 9% but i dont really look it. 6'2, 154lbs for reference.

6"2 and 154 9% sounds not too far off you can add.2-3% bfat if you want to be more fair but either way you're a skeletal eat more you weigh less than 5'7 manlets who lift.

Work your core a lot to create a more flat look because of the added tension from the muscle.
Also I guess around 18-20%, but you look bad from having almost no muscle.

20%-er here, what do you recommend I focus on now? I cut down from 210 to 230 and I have only been working out for 6 months. My lifts are pretty sad desu.

Deadlift: 245
Bench: 205
Squat: 225

I simply didn't focus on aesthetics, and focused on power lifting and strongman based training for a long time. I understand I'm at a high body fat, but than again I'm cutting weight every week and I'm satisfied with my progress so far. By next year, I will keep cutting weight.

That's why I'm cutting weight after a powerlifting induced low back injury and now I want to focus on just dropping weight. Yes, I'm still fat but I enjoy the lemons life has give me, yes I could have started focusing on dropping weight 2 years ago, but you know I'm just happy I still lift and am now dropping weight.

If I considered myself Veeky Forums I probably wouldn't be cutting weight, I know it is unhealthy and I agree it is not optimal to hold that much body fat. The thing is I'm taking it day by day and losing 2lbs a week, I have some progress to make by next year. but you know what, you do you and keep being negative

I enjoy my life if I was fat and I enjoy it now. focus on the positive, keep cutting, eating right, and lifting weights. A little bit of extra body fat doesn't mean shit to me.
