you should do rows with 8-10 reps. The back needs a bit more volume, as there are so many muscles and so much muscle mass.

I do 40 kg for 15 reps, it's decent I guess. I just recently started doing them as I am not happy with my traps and rhomboids. I am pretty happy with my lats. I also do barbell row 90 kg for 5 reps with torso at 90 degrees. Not a fat fuck.
