I'm 6'1 180 and I can touch the ground with my finger tips
If I just keep doing the same old stretches I learned in high school gym class will I get anywhere?

No joke.

Put your foot on a table in front of you. Worst feeling ever during, but after it's like heaven.

Can lick own elbow/10

Yes and no. What one learns in high school is too basic to have appropriate flexibility in every angle. You'll find that you'll develop a lot of flexibility in one side and very little in other sides. It's sort of ok if you're only looking to get better at lifting - although, not enough for oly-style lifts.

Was Zuko a Chad?

Blu board

I can touch my toes and hyperextend my elbows. That's about it.

Reddit has a bodyweightfitness board that has decent stretching routine for complete beginners.
Its called some dumb meme play on words related to Starting Strength

I did it for a few months, improved my flexibility and then started taking proper yoga classes (no homo)

Starting stretch

It's called starting stretching, and it's also in the Veeky Forums sticky.

> implying anyone reads the sticky

they wrote the routine. Credit where credit is due

I didn't know they wrote it, it's on an external site and not on reddit itself.
