I see a lot of this on YouTube lately...
What do you think about this idea? Bullshit or legit upper body exercise to get fit?

>he fell for the most blatant bait meme challenge of all time

300 injections a day

It's a trick, OP. The only cheat in this game is steroids.

You don't get that good permanent results from doing just push-ups.
After a while you build endurance;no progressive overload. Literally just a slightly longer pump.

better than nothing

Who is that guy?

>take photo while soft and cool
>later on take photo while pumped, flexing, and leaning in to the camera
All of the day bro

This.
Oldest trick in the book.

300 pushups
more like just fuck my joints up senpai

>does 300 push ups a day.
>Somehow his biceps and traps grow
totally legit bro

...

>he thinks pushups work his calves
Nice diagram but doesnt have much to do with push ups

If you post that as picture which is suppose to show what the push up works then you should learn some anatomy and biophysics, so you may understand how certain movements works.
Your wrist/finger extensor and calves will not be worked by push ups

those pics are like six years apart, before he started his "mountain that rides" training/cycles

people in the military do nothing but pushups and running and they are pretty fit.

Holy shit,no! Its 30 days later, after 300 pushups a day.

Damn, those pushups made even his forearms and side-delts huge. Haha.

I'm sure if you do 300 pushups a day for a month straight you'll get bigger, especially early on in your training career but the question is why do such heavy volume that will make you feel like shit when you can make even greater improvements with much lower volume.

The only reason is if you wanna be able to do more unweighted pushups in a row.

Otherwise, at least go for dips (and chins).

Even the guy in the video actually says that this is basically just a challenge, not a good program. Heavy volume, no rest days, adaptation likely stops after that first month.

He also says he had sternum pains at some point which seems natural with all that volume and that hitting the gym with a regular program is much better.

garl zagan :DDDD

You've never done pushups have you?

Almost everyone that I know that aces the APFT works out at the gym to supplement daily PT. Except for the skinny guys that can somehow knock out 110 pushups and run 12 minute 2 miles, but for some reason they always suck at situps.
