Friendly reminder to hang yourself to a bar daily to releave the built up pressure on your spine from deadlifts, squat, and sitting.

Reminder to hang yourself from a ceiling fan to relieve the built up pressure from life

Have you read any studies that explore the potential effects of such activity?

This causes a very weird pain when I do this without bracing abs.

>This causes a very weird pain
its the spine decompressing, its great for spine longevity

Not at all related to this thread, but check out these quads.

absolutely BRUTAL wristmog

lmao nice

HOLY SHIT now that's a legit mog buddyboyos

Tfw too tall to just dead hang at my gym...

t. 6'2"

>tfw too dumb to bend my knees
ftfy

Guy on the left must be legit sub-6"

it works

this doesnt decompress your spine at all
its a waste of time bucko

pro tip: tilt your head forwards for them cracks

It is shit for lower back but I do knee raises while hanging and get some mobility to my lower back

I also move my grip around to work on finger and forearm strength

Spine decompression should be done hanging off something e.g bands ,otherwise your grip will force your back to work.
Is common sense really that hard?

it can be a good way to stretch most of the muscles in your back.

Nigga is this a smurf gym or what

Friendly reminder dyels are banned from bar hangs because it just looks like they can't do pull ups but still want to take up space on the pull up bar

Damn, 6'2, that's SO fucking tall!

t. 6'4''

seriously though, dead hangs must be one of the most based exercises there are
>work grip
>work rhomboids and stabilizers for pullups
>decompress spine

Always throw them in at the end of the day or workout

how long do you hang for post WO?

Friendly reminder to hang yourself

When will manlets learn?

i try to but it hurts my hands like fuck, after a short while ,even with straps

and i do oly

how do you mean hanging from bands?

maybe he means neutral grip

>only one person using thumbless grip

what the FUCK is this

For how long should i do it, to decompress my spine?

holy shit, guy on the right has those carpenter wrists. he's probably been building homes for 20+ years and has his own company with a 7 figure net worth. dude can probably crush cinderblocks with only his hands. guy on the left looks like a graphic designer that eats, sleeps, and shits when his boss tells him to and the heaviest thing he lifts on an average day is his coffee mug.

Never heard of this shit, pls explain.

even the way the guy on the left crosses his ankles looks pussy

not to mention making a face like he's being penetrated by his boyfriend

true beta right there folks

Probably meant straps
I do weighted pullups with straps. Feels fucking great

google decompressing spine, or unloading spine.

I hear this is good for shoulders. anyone confirm?

Is any of this real or is OP just meming?

This looks to be great for posture.

I'm a wristlet, does this help fix it?

...

I bought one of those inversion tables and used it once or twice a week, got several herniated disks during the time I used it. Separating your spinal tissue isn't a good idea. Seems like they have to be compressed for you to be able to push that weight safely.

White collared hate thread where? They're stuck up pussyfaggots, what's more to say?

...

Crossfit.

Hanging like this from a bar to relieve spinal compression is a thing. I know Greg Everett writes that some atheletes feel a satisfying popping when they do it. You shouldn't do it between sets, but it's alright at the end of some workouts.
