I literally eat an avocado every single day. I like them so much that sometimes I can't resist and eat a second avocado. If I had to pick one food to have for the rest of my life I would choose avocados. I fucking love avocados. Sometimes I make my own guac and eat it with different things. Sometimes I make salads and add avocado slices. Sometimes I put avocados in wraps. Most of the time I just eat the avocado straight up. Sometimes the avocados won't even be ripe but I eat them anyway since I love them so much. I love avocados. I planted an avocado tree in my back yard. I live in the north so I will probably die but it is worth a shot. I really like avocados. I eat them everyday

Superfood is just a marketing buzz term. It literally just means food that has some sort of nutritional value and isnt complete trash for you.

When you read stuff like 70% dark chocolate, it basically means the rest is sugar. So when you eat white or regular chocolate, you're basically eating sugar, which is bad. But on higher percentiles it actually becomes a healthy thing. Personally I eat one 85% piece everyday

We've known the Nutrition Value of every food humans eat for a long time now. I usually don't mind marketing but it's so obvious with superfoods.

Superfoods aren't so much about nutritional value as they are health value. Blueberries for example aren't considered a superfood because they're an amazing source of vitamin C, but because they're so dense in those bluish/purplish pigments called anythocyanins, which we're only more recently beginning to understand the health effects of. Dark chocolate as well, while it does have magnesium and other minerals, is more prized for those dark, powerful antioxidant pigments.
