Fast Food addiction

Hey guys, I'm trying to cut but have a serious problem with being addicted to fast food. All my whole and healthy foods get super bland after awhile. It's so difficult to resist going to Subway, taco bell, zaxbys, chick fila, wendys, etc. every day and I can afford to. I'm not really fat so it's not an pressing issue, I'm like 14-15% bf 190lbs 6'1 and it would be cool to be super cut at like 170 or something. I swear it's like fast food makes my brain release happy chemicals but it doesn't for anything healthy I eat unless I buy a steak or something. Anyone else deal with this addiction?

Basically you just have to say no and it'll get easier. 2 things that really help me is meal prep and self shame.
I meal prep so I can always have something quick and healthy but also it makes it easier to say no because I don't want my money to go to waste.
Self shame by just thinking how disgusting I look.

As a /pol/ack myself I never understood the no fap and porn meme,I'm married but when I'm away from home i do masturbate,usually I have no need for because wife but I basically need to empty my male sacks twice a day so when I'm away from home i masturbate.

What worked for me was Intermittent fasting. I had huge cravings for sweet things before and I constantly overate. But after I started eating only twice per day with a 16-18 hours fasting window my cravings disappeared.

you have no need for it because you have the delayed satisfaction of a wife. You put in the hard work of keeping a loving relationship going and those you don't need the immedate satisfaction of porn. People who use that as an alternative to sex need to abstain from the immediate "pleasure" of jerking off and put in the work and dedication that will result in true pleasure from sex.

Eating fast food once in a blue moon won't do anything to your health/asthetic if you otherwise have a good diet. Having a good diet for a week, two weeks at a time and then having some wendels or macD's or w.e is the same as you saying

It's not about porn per se, although I do think there are a lot of bad things about that in and of itself, its about using something, anything as a medium for immediate satisfaction and escapism.

Your body does release happy chemicals,exercise does as well,eat other thing like fruit or something healthy so you don't have the hunger and simply exercise if possible if not,tough shit user but you'll have to think of other things in gave up smoking and sometimes I even dream I'm smoking and i wake up like...fuck did i smoke last night after 5 years without doing so? So it's always there but there ain't no real need for it.
Learn to cook your own healthy shitty food,if you yourself prepare it simply because of the effort you put and the fact you know the ingredients you bought are fresh and healthy even if it tastes like shit you can trust the chef and thus eat it.

It costs too much to have an addiction. Hell, yesterday I bought a pack of 11 Foster Farms chicken paddies for $4 along with an 8 pack of hamburger buns for under $1, that's dinner for about five days.

Yeah I have had this problem for a while. I would either crash diet and hold out on sheer willpower for a while until I breakdown and go all out on hungry jacks. Other times I would be more reasonable but eventually I would let myself go super hungry and eat a shitload of fast food. Once I get that hit I would sometimes go into a spiral of fast food justifying it to myself by saying this is the last time I will pig out like this and from the next day or Monday or whatever it's only clean eating. Obviously that got me nowhere as it would happen often enough that I would yoyo in weight and not reach my cutting goals.

I finally got it sorted out by counting calories, using a meal prep service and keeping a consistent schedule for eating. I never allow myself to go super hungry which is when I am most likely to turn to that fast food goodness. Now that I always have a general idea of how many calories I am eating per day I can fit in the occasional cheat meal and allow myself to drink and eat at social events without ever severely going over my set deficit. I keep cheat meals reasonable.

its difficult to not get fast food after leaving the gym. its like 2.49 and cheap as hell and alot of the food fits perfectly in my diet.

I think some user went on /pol/ saying burgers don't get enough iodine because they fill you with other kind of salt while fast food does have iodine thus like cows that crave the liking salt stone you go to fast food restaurants to stuff your face with iodine because of biological necessity.

But in all seriousness you need to take control of that ASAP the longer you let it go on the closer you will get to simply becoming boogie2988 when you reach your 40s and have given up on lifting do to your full time job and lack of energy that comes with being on your 40s.

I used to be bad about fast food. I stopped bringing my wallet when going to the gym, only cooked at home. After a few weeks I stopped craving it entirely.
