Then came the degradation of funny stories into fat people hate threads. What started as people sharing funny stories of their day to day lifestyle and peoples reactions slowly developed into funny stories of fat people and eventually just plain stories that are unfunny about fat people. Then the hate began. Old Veeky Forums didnt really give a fuck about fatties, that was their choice and we just had a laugh about scooters. Daily threads of people seething with rage about what some fat fuck on tumblr wrote took over and the fun was lost.

CBT threads. Fucking hell. About 4 of these up at any time with the same fags whoring themselves for compliments daily. Just constant pics and barely any stats. Theres no advice going around. There are no recommendations. Its just one big circle jerk and stay for a week here and youll eventually be able to tell when an attention whore gets a new toothbrush from how often they post themselves. CBT are a cancer and photos were better when they related to a topic. Starting a thread on routine X and then a bloke coming in to post his body gained on routine X worked infinitely better than this current orgy.

Generals. What a fucking circle jerk. Their creation came as a result of the board becoming flooded with other shit to the point where we need enclaves to actually discuss fitness and the like on a fucking fitness board. Naturally what happens is you set up small communities when you do this. Enter any general and its the same guys talking about anythign but the topic at hand. You enter a fucking chatroom at this point. "Hey dave how was work" comments on an anonymous internet forum. Whats the fucking point. This place was great because of its format. Small, fleeting anonymous conversations that dont last. Generals have just turned this place into a normal forum. Its bodybuilding.com with hentai.

One thing that has improved is that this place is more cardio friendly i guess. Makes up for the tragic decline. I blame the majority on the obssessed spergs who came here thinking it will get them women. The decline can be directly correlated with the number of threads about women in general.

Im just sad to see this place this way when it was honestly one of the best boards. I come here like once a month nowadays

Ever found any other forums that emulate old Veeky Forums? I can't stand the pathetic lookism and /pol/ shit that gets posted daily here now. Nah ive just moved on from forums. Old Veeky Forums infographics and a year lurking were prob enough for anyone to know the basics of fitness that can last them a lifetime. I don't see any noticeable increase or decrease in them. Some memes have faded from the collective consciousness and new memes have popped up. Such is life. Board culture seems fine to me.
