Girls don't put on as much muscle mass so if your genetics aren't favourable, the best you'll ever have is an ok ass. Exercises should be highish volume things that involve lots of end range hip extension, e.g. glute bridges/hip thrusts, pendulum glute extensions, back extensions (not doing them correctly is better for glutes), etc. Squats and deads just give you a better all-round lower body, they're not really glute exercises.

i built my butt using kickbacks, glute ham raises, hip thrusts, glute pushdowns on the assisted pull up machine, and only doing sumo squats instead of regular squats. ive also used the glute machine even though its blasphemous.
