I don't do DL. I have to admit that I'm not very strong in compound lifts, but I always aimed for aesthetics over strength.
Thats why my diet is low carbs low fats very high protein. I don't bulk or cut, I like to stay lean all year around, I just try to gain as much lean mass without gaining any fat. It's slow, but with a strict diet it works.

There was a time were I was lifting 5 or even 6 days a week. My joints hurt as fuck, I couldn't lift shit and I was sick with a cold every month, and I could tell I was in verge of a major injury.
Unless you eat 10k calories a day, or use gear, you shouldn't lift more than 4 days a week.
