Fats are important as fuck in maintaining health, and contribute hugely to testosterone production.
Carbs on the other hand are pretty much a meme and you really don't need to be eating a lot of them on a cut.

I do decline and/or hanging crunches on leg day, and finish the day with a 2 minute plank.

I do 2 machines for abs, one rotation-y and one that's basically weighted situps. Started adding 1 minute of plank to the end of some workouts as well.

Pin it in place with a nail gun or something, no pain no fugging.

I do Dragon flags, hanging leg raises, and cable crunches.

Saying you can get abs with squats/deadlifts/etc is like saying you can get huge biceps with rows alone. Yeah they help, but you need to isolate if you want that extra mass and definition.

imo strong lifts wasn't that fun when i first started, i would recommend following a beginner ppl routine, you can find one on leddits fitness

Do Starting Strength until you finish making all those neural gainz and plateau. After that, do StrongLifts 5x5. You'll benefit a lot more doing this than if you had gone straight into SL5x5.
