I don't watch any of his vids but I was wondering whether it would have been better if he just died. I don't mean that to be mean spirited but imagine the impact that would have had. He has quite an online presence and million watch his vids. I'm sure tons of fat people are able to relate so they are avid fans. If he died due to his obesity it would have sent out ripples throughout the internet. Youtubes would have to talk about it and now and more attention would be placed on the epidemic. I also believe thousands of fat individuals would take it as a sobering wake up call of what can happen to them. Suddenly it isn't some stranger that died due to obesity but it is their beloved Boogie. I truly believe he could have been a wonderful martyr and he may still become that. I don't want him to die but I was just musing on the possible good that would have resulted from it.

I see what you're saying and I sympathize with it. But fat people need tough lough. Just like a good friend who tells you that you have mustard on your face. They need to be told they're fat and unhealthy but with a touch of care.

The amount of bad food you have to eat at that age to be overweight is a big problem. I sat her down and had a chat with her because nobody in the family said anything and were not acknowledging the problem. I talked to her about diet, exercise, and a 101 in deferred gratification. She hated me for it, and will hate me for it for a while. But that is fine, she needed the talk from someone, and she'll thank me later.
