Most men overestimate how well they can fight. If you actually went up against somebody who knew what they were doing, you would crash and burn. Your muscles would be useless against somebody who actually knew what they were doing in a fight. Fighting is the most primal of activities, so big muscles, in such a context, are nothing more than a facade if you can't actually back it up against an opponent.
>hand to hand fighting what? it's 2017 AD, not 9481 BC. in order of things you need for self defense it's >how to draw and shot a gun efficiently >disarm another person who has a gun efficiently >grapple efficiently kicking, punching, all that retard shit is worthless in the real world. inside rings does not matter as it's just play fighting with made up rules. go ahead and waste time learning to throw a punch, I'll be busy over here pumping you full of lead and then semen.
Ian Torres
Most people who get into random fights are usually intoxicated and can't fight. Being intoxicated and 250lbs 6'2" and can't fight will always beat 160lbs 5'11"
Jonathan Peterson
>kicking, punching, all that retard shit is worthless in the real world.
Right. Kicks and punches are not part of any modern CQC program or self-defense regime.
Jesus fuck, you're retarded.
Angel Rodriguez
>muscles would be useless Muscles are an advantage. Your opponent might have an ever bigger technical advantage, but that doesn't mean you can understimate the muscular advantage. Anyway, if you want to be good in a fight you'll need BOTH.
Jacob Reyes
>Meatheads think they'll be able to perform after they shoot someone
"O-okay, n-now I'm gonna fill you up with s-semen"
Sebastian Watson
im all for learning how to fight but grappling isn't swinging if they were boxing, i think the big dude would win will say, having both muscle and skill is better than just one of them.
Jose Wright
So what?
You put an unexperienced BJJ fighter against a world champion to fight BJJ and expect anything different than this? In a real world fight the 150lb would be (rightfully) wrecked. Of course technique is important, but technique means jack shit if your opponent doubles your weight in a street fight. Even if this example was used with a different martial art (boxing or UFC) you would still be wrong.
There's no way in hell more muscle mass or strong muscles will hinder you in fighting. The only exception is if you're in Ronnie-tier shape and can barely even move due to how oversized you are. This takes decades of juice and genes that respond well to them.
In other words, nothing you said is an excuse not to lift.
Jonathan Baker
>Fighting is the most primal of activities, so big muscles, in such a context, are nothing more than a facade if you can't actually back it up against an opponent. Fighting != martial arts
Charles Gomez
then why is the winner of the mundials absolute division almost always 200+lbs and not 120?
Alexander Martinez
>a fighter can beat someone who lifts heavy objects instead of fighting OMG REALLY!?
Isaac Turner
Ameritards I swear
Noah Hernandez
wow op superior training really helps when you're extremely limited by useless rules where you can only grab someone and twist their limbs to win
Anthony Nguyen
i only watched to 40 seconds where the guy could have put him to sleep by either punching or kneeing him in the head but he didn't
so its not a real fight, just fags grappling
>Most men overestimate how well they can fight. If you actually went up against somebody who knew what they were doing, you would crash and burn. But goy! It's not a real fight! Tapping is annuduh shoa!
Alexander Long
That's not fighting, that's sweaty dick wrestling. Point match sports are not fights, though I agree with your overall point. But that little spiclet would have been wrecked by a couple throws to the jaw, unless he also trains in actual fighting.
Zachary Cooper
Fighting is all about luck.
Doesn't matter if you've got multiple belts in multiple disciplines or you can do the Kamehameha Wave. One lucky shot sends you to the ground and you hit your head and die.
Brayden Clark
>trained fighter beats person with no fighting experience Wow! That's such a surprise OP! Please elaborate on this very peculiar phenomenon.
Isaac Martin
*stuffs your takedown attempt*
Thomas Myers
That's a technical fight between an expert and an beginner. Its interesting to see how the skill gap and power gap works out, but the beginner just can't do any of the moves that would get a technical win, so even though there are several points where he's manhandling the other guy, of course he doesn't win.
In a real fight, he could win by just dropping onto the other guy when he starts his weird sitting lunge, good luck doing that shit in an actual fight.
It would be interesting to see a proper version of this, but we'll never see it because there are no trained experts in freeform fucking other people up with their bare hands in a fair fight, its always some kind of safe sport.
Nathaniel James
what would happen in a real fight
Isaac Perry
if it was a a straight bar fight that short 150 lb fucker would get destroyed. I am a manlet but I dont indulge my delusions. If I learned how to fight and went to a bar and got into an argument with someone, if a 250 lb fucker charged me there would be little I could do besides hope for a lucky shot or shoot him or something. 100 pound difference is way too damn much
Kevin Wright
Yeah that's why no modern armies train their soldiers in CQC, right? That's why no police department trains their police in empty handed combat, right? Fucking retard.
Anthony Robinson
Whoa whoa whoa. No need for name calling. May I take a look at your PENIS though? Please to be showing me your PENIS?

Nolan Gutierrez
In ancient Greece, combatants and competitors would often compliment their opponents on their strengths and consider a loss a sign of having met a greater challenger, and a win as a genuine victory.
Your blood has been tainted with that of the infidel.
Justin Watson
I don't doubt the effectiveness of BJJ, but you can clearly see at the 0:38 mark the 150lb guy just slides onto the floor and the big guy just has no idea how to respond because he's not allowed to just clobber him.
Charles Howard
maybe you lick where my poop comes out. maybe we make that a weekly thing.
Nathan Phillips
1 month of intense training and the bodybuilder would obliterate that manlet.
Logan Ortiz
lmao if the guy was allowed it hit it would be over in seconds.
Brody Wilson
1 month? That "manlet" is the Goodwin-McCabe BJJ Toughest Out of the Year 3 years running. He'd mop the floor with that fat faggot.
Kayden Bailey
In a real fight the big guy would have won in seconds. >Much longer limbs >Much taller >Heavier >Stronger One or two punches to the small guy and he has some broken ribs, internal bleeding, and becomes immobile. The only thing the small guy can try to do is run away or get this guy in a choke/grapple like he did in op's video, but his reach is absolute shit and he can't get anywhere near the big guy without taking some very massive blows.
Angel Morris
>slinking towards him on the ground >fighting
the bodybuilder would have stomped on his fucking nuts in the street
Easton Perry
>Most men overestimate how well they can fight I'd say this is 100% true.
Jeremiah Moore
If that were a real fight then the bodybuilder would have kicked the teeth out of that guy when he was trying to lay on the ground right in front of him at 36 seconds in.
Evan Butler
>he could win by just dropping onto the other guy when he starts his weird sitting lunge
He wouldn't do his weird sitting lunge in a real fight. The alpha did a bunch of bullshit on the meathead because he got bored doing the same move. In a real fight, he'd use simple, effective techniques and it would be over within a minute.
Andrew Ortiz
>Remember that society that used to have all the gay orgies? >They used to compliment each other on strength

I think youre a retard. the 250 lb guy is restricted to using BJJ moves but doesnt actually know any BJJ moves.
Camden Anderson

Jaxson Turner
he is free to muscle around the other guy any way he wants. just cant strike..
David Myers
heh heh heh
heh
Josiah Morgan
Lol manlets actually believe this shit. The body builder had no idea what he was doing and was just letting the kid have his way. I'm not sure what this is suppose to prove. If a big guy throws himself on the floor and doesn't defend himself a manlet can kick his ass???
Alexander James
you can be heavy, have muscle and learn to fight at the same time stop rationalizing being a skinny twink. fucking retard man
Nicholas Gonzalez
thats why i lift, do bjj, did shooting as police training for 4 years, and try hard as I can to de escalate situations verbally.
and i could still get stabbed to death. dont play with your life to inflate you ego faggots
Ethan Young
Would only be valid if it was MMA with striking. Of course a guy who knows BJJ is going to beat basically anyone who doesn't in a BJJ match.
But if the big guy could strike and wanted to hurt the little man, different story
Isaac Baker
does the big guy know how to strike? chances are he gasses out and gets an arm snapped.
Caleb Hernandez

That's BJJ, not fighting. The small guy doesn't seem prepared for getting punched in the nose.

Connor Reed
this video is a terrible example because the big guy isn't throwing any strikes.
but we already know what happens when bjj goes up against non-grapplers. look at royce gracie. he submitted guys his size or bigger who were trying to beat his ass.
Adam Foster
The fight in OP's vid wasn't real. Jew-Jitsu kid would have been clocked repeatedly in the face by that larger guy... having a reach advantage matters a lot... and lets see how Jew-Jitsu-Kid's gameplan sticks together after he takes a shot in his beaner nose.

Dominic Sanchez
>this guy actually thinks hes going to get away with shooting someone in every minor street scuffle
Michael Murphy
Underrated post. Best self-defense is to stay out of situations where you would need self-defense. Strength, skill, and tools are all necessary for serious self-defense.
>getting healthy look dude, I'm all for lifting heavy , squats and deadlifts but you must be a fool to believe that it is healthy.
Alexander James
>being this dumb
I am always armed and one important aspect of being armed is always keeping your distance. I don't fight or ever look for problems but I have CC for the most dire of situations. I have been at bars and men have wanted to fight me and I just walk away because I know the consequences of my actions and that in today's society, a clean fight doesn't exist. My entire family has CC and everyone knows to fight but I'll never forget what my dad used to say.
>Walk away whenever you can. It's always better if people can say "A coward walked by here than a brave man died here"
Nolan Gray
I don't think I'll ever be in a fight my entire life in the first place.
Ryder Bailey
you are now flexing your glutes andimagining someone trying to penetrate through with their penis
Jayden Hernandez
B8 thread.
I practise MMA and seldom lift and even I recognise size matters. He could've punt kicked the BJJ fag in the head, he could've overhand right'd him square on the nozzle.
Your video is an example of what would happen if someone with no BJJ training rolled around with someone who has BJJ training. ROLLED AROUND, not FOUGHT.
I'd bet my money on the bodybuilder 9 times out of 10 if they actually took it to the streets or even inside an octagon.
This is b8 and most of you took it like complete and utter morons, although he got BTFO by simple arguments.
Ryder Taylor
