My parents immigrated when they were like 10 years old. It's a bit different.

Parents are both lawyers, dad is retired, mum still works.

They built up enough wealth where there is no stress for money. The only reason why I was going to university was to enhance my earning potential, but then I realised I didn't even need it, so why bother?

Also - why work when your parents just let you have anything you want and have set you up to inherit multiple properties that will earn passive income forever.

NEET for 2 months since graduating, can't find an engineering job in a city I want to live in. All my lifts are flying, diet is good, sleep is incredible

Here in my country you have to work a minimum of 6 months to receive unemployment cheque for 3 months. So I just work for 6 months at a job, then start fucking things up so I get fired and live NEET for 3 months. Rinse, repeat

I dont know about that, when I was temporarily unemployed a while back I never set my alarm and I slept like 12 hours each night. I would be tired, lazy and groggy all day not being able to do shit. Oversleeping is a real thing.

Hmm , I think I know that feel , it only happen if you do nothing all day , in period where i'm depressed and have no job/ will to do sport I often oversleep , but if i'm employed and/or do lots of physical activity ( cardio / lift ) than my sleep auto-regulate itself way better , I think post workout carbs are the key too , empty the tank , fuel it to the brim and go to sleep .

My dad retired because my mum earns more than enough. My mum grossed over 500k from her job in the first half this year and she only has 1 legal secretary working for her that she pays like 80k/year.

I've done a lot of things. You realise all the information you get at university is found elsewhere in far greater detail, right? I don't understand why people think university is some place with secret special knowledge that isn't found anywhere else.

University gets you a piece of paper saying you're competent and qualified in a specific area of knowledge, but then again, these pieces of paper are very quickly losing their value as everybody and their dog gets one.

I'm not bragging, I'm just stating the fact, I didn't realize how much of an impact studying/working and the stresses of a normie life actually impacted on gains, diet, sleep etc. I highly suggest the NEET life if you can do it.

It can user, you just have to put in effort. At least once a week set aside and evening to go and try something new, whether that's a sport, or a class, or a restaurant you've been wanting to try. It'll help break you out of a rut, i guarantee. The more you develope into a person with interests you're willing to work hard at and become passionate about, the happier you'll be and the more people will want to be around you.

You must realize that a lot of people actually enjoy their work, spending time with their co-workers and achieving something togheter. Making a living for yourself and the people around you while being of benefit to the whole community is a great feeling. It´s just how most people are hardwired, I would be miserable without a proper job and meaning - rich or poor.
