does a ukelele count?

Piano for one year now (got a keyboard with 49 keys), used to play cello for 3 years but it was too expensive to continue once my first one broke, so i gave it up.

Alto Sax for 6 years, then it broke and haven't had money to fix it/buy a better one

>tfw just got a job

Yes

Nice. Hope you get back to playing again, user

Then I've been playing my uke for about a year now. It's fun for road trips and fits the tropical surfer image I'm building.

thanks m8

HOMO!
I went to the beach once with my gfs coworkers and this girl pulled out a uke and I wanted to kill myself

>Homo
Tell me something I don't kno, breh.

Played guitar for a while. Realized any time spent playing could be spent in the gym and quit.
This isn't fitness related, sage.

been playing the drums for 10 years.

good exercise too.

Want to start learning the piano so I can play link related

Trumpet and Piano checking in

Played guitar for 10 years. Can noodle on keyboards and drums. Mostly play with drum machines now.

All my friends are musicians
I live in a big "musician city"

The one dude I know that plays music and lifts has a super hot GF

This is a really boring piece of music, the harmony is so flat throughout.

Piano for 20, guitar for 18.

It's nice to have something to fall back on that isn't so "performance oriented." I can sit at a piano and lose a few hours just jamming for myself

Been playing for almost 15 years. Took classical guitat lessons through jr high but now i play several other instruments as well.

>giving up on a life enriching hobby for lifting when you could make time for both
>getting mad about a hobby thread when fph and other shit threads exist
slit your wrists tonight

Oh well. Different strokes.

fuck no

>guitar for 5 years
>bass for 3 years
>drums since january
>keyboard for 8 years
>clarinet for 3 then stopped because band is gay
Looking forward to the calf gainz from double bass

Trying to get fit and wanting to learn sitar.
Too bad there's not much learning material online for the latter.

Here's the original.

Guitar for ~11 years, used to practice over 6 hrs a day because I had fucking nothing else to do
>tfw I can play rust in peace cover to cover
>tfw chicks don't give a shit about the greatest metal album of all time
>tfw chicks don't give a shit about me ripping marty's hot licks

piano player here, on my way to being professional

what city would that be?

Montreal
I work for a moving company on and off and everyone is a musician. When they're not on tour, they're here moving for other musicians.
I'm like the one guy who doesn't play in a band and go on tour

I used to play the trumpet pretty good, but i picked it back up a few weeks ago and could barely get a note out

Clim aboard metalanon. Chicks only care about guitar players when they play country or indie gay shit
>music club unimpressed by 400bpm shredding
>mixed in deathcore breakdowns for the edgelords
>faggot playing 3 chords makes cut

Pianist, been playing for 13 years. One of these days I'll start up a band and learn how to sing

Piano for 3 or so years, mainly just play for my pets and my partner, when I need pointers.

if you don't do it now, you'll never do it, deal with it. Better stop thinking about it, if you don't want to be unhappy

>getting this mad that someone doesn't share your hobby

Drummer here. I'm the biggest member of the band I play in and I'm still DYEL.

*Chicks only care about guitar players when they sing
ftfy

I'm a full time trumpet player in Cali.

Flute for 9 years. Have some piano experience just because every music school forces you to know it at some basic level.

flute is a dank instrument

The only flute players I have ever known were women or gays
