well so far op has posted mud huts and shitty walls

But the way Benin treated its slaves and the public display of large quantities of human remains hardened British attitudes towards Benin's rulers. Since 1863, the British had been trying to force the King to stop selling slaves to the Arab traders who had replaced the Portuguese after 1836 and to stop the practice of human sacrificial crucifixion.[7][8][9] This had increased after the Atlantic trade ended as the leaders "supernatural rituals and large-scale human sacrifices to protect the state from further territorial encroachment."[10][11] The trader James Pinnock wrote that he saw 'a large number of men all handcuffed and chained' there, with 'their ears cut off with a razor'. T.B Auchterlonie described the approach to the capital through an avenue of trees hung with decomposing human remains. After the 'lane of horrors' came a grass common 'thickly stewn with the skulls and bones of sacrificed human beings.'[12]

meanwhile reality

Didn't deny that, my point was just that it's pseudoscientific as fuck to use that as an argument about race.

This guy again hun

So the same autist is here again right posting the Same block of text about Benin ignoring all other culture that practiced sacrifice and crusafixtion

Is not Arabic or islamic are churches Arabic because Christianity didn't originate from Europe

It's not about church, it's about a style of arts/architecture and his origine.

African art distinct to africa the most adavanced art made by them was made by Yoruba people

Aslo the style isn't Arabic it's african

It's origin predates the Mali empire

It's called sudano sahelian architecture

So, this is the Italian renaissance of Africa? What is your point?

In order to build large structures, you need a lot of things, including architects and money. When Arabs colonized parts of black Africa, they made money and had access to the architects. This is why almost all the pics here that are not simple mud hut are from the Islamic age.

Pic related is what European towns looked like at the same time.

You know what this is reminding me of? Early medieval cities, at least the way they're depicted in media. Like in The Last Kingdom, where Alfred the Great's palace is a smallish Roman house and all the other houses in Winchester were just wood shacks

Lmao, Arabs colonized SSA ? Where ?

When did Arabs colonize ssa africa ?

Why are turning this into a pissing contest ? It's just some dude talking about africa

Most of the Swahili coast were Bantu Swahili is a Bantu based Laguage also bantus built the original settlements

Most of the sudano shelian architecture you post in this thread have been made after the contact with the islamic civilisation.

(it's obvious since most of the pics are some Mosque)

The Great Mosque of Djenne was completed in 1907 ...

Most of these are from west africa you know that right?
