just play any sport you like and supplement any lifts you want (lifting in the gym is fun if you're not stuck in some routine, tho routine obviously is a tested way to max results).

if you train and git gud at any sport that actually requires physicality (no darts, chess, poker, etc.) you'll eventually get a good body

You need to be a p gud rower for it to show on your body. Rowing scene is huge at my uni, but most of them look pretty dyel, unless they do other sports, lift seriously or are competing on a national level. The most physically developed rowers I know are also involved in the uni powerlifting squad

I agree withClimbing will give you a really nice upper body and core, and it's also super fun but It won't do much for legs, so I recommend also playing some soccer on the side

Get fun weights. That's what strongman is to me. Overhead press sandbags, do carries and loads, go heavy, sled pushes and drags, etc. I find it so fun I forget to properly train, so I don't get as much progress as I could.
