I first came here years ago as a retarded "naturally fat" teenage victim of proto-fat acceptance high school education. I thought that putting effort into fitness was for losers, that calories sounded like bullshit, I "didn't want to get too bulky" and wanted to get an exercise bike to "work out while I watch TV" and asked for other "tricks" to getting in shape without putting in effort or changing my routine and generally asked about retarded shit like how many brownies I can eat if I run for an hour.

Veeky Forums rightfully berated the FUCK out of me and no one gave me an inch. Eventually I came around, started lifting, properly set aside time to dedicate to my health and changed my diet. I haven't fully made it by any means, but lifting is the best part of my day and I can't believe it took me so long to nut up and try it.
