COLLEGE MAJORS
what college major are you doing? are you able to still keep up with your routine?

Bio here. I have good grades and I don't miss a day in the gym, but I have to give up all drugs and drink very rarely.
But I found if you get your work done IMMEDIATELY and don't procrastinate you will find yourself with a lot more free time.

Also is it realistic to major in something like bio medical engineering and obtain a grant to create the perfect steroid?

Law, nigga. I can keep up with it and still dedicate myself to fitness, parties and shitposting on this Taiwanese Masseuse Board very easily. I just do everything I need to do the instant I receive the work.

same. as soon as you slack the work fucking PILES up.

>Sit in library for six hours
>30 minutes spent studying, the rest spent shitposting and watching youtube videos
>Have like three hours a day of classes, skip half of them anyway
>"Yeah I'd keep in shape but I'm just so busy!!!"

Undergrads are a meme.

Finance/Econ double major, I have time to lift twice a day during the week.

is that green text about you or other people?
if that's about you then get youre fucking priorities straight

Other people.

Getting a PhD. in materials science. Not too bad, but juggling everything is a pain.

Already a thread up about this. Lurk the catalog, newfag.

masters in accounting. boring as shit and im staring to hate it. thank god ill be done in may/june.

yeah i get pissed at these fucking tards
>have literally 2 or 3 hours of classes
>skip them
>complain later about lack of money

fuck them. i sit next to this philipino kid in bio class. he brings no pens/paper or books, just pulls out his laptop and sets it on his desk then watches fucking skateboard videos on youtube in class. Then audibly says "wtf" or "wtf is going on" everytime the professor says something. Like dam pay attention nigga, then he always asks me for help. I tell him to just pay more attention. faggot.

>Undergrads are a meme.
If you don't know what a word means, don't fucking use it cock sock.

I'm just taking a government class at CC atm. Shit blows. Haven't been to 3 classes so far. Feel like college isn't for me and I'm just wasting my time. Should I get into a trade? I just wanna make some money desu. USA here btw

CompSci

I get up when my gym opens and then work.

No drugs. Weed would render me helpless and booze is shit for gains.

Management Information Systems, basically computer shit but less nerdy than compsci. Pretty cool, most of the people in it are likeable. Would recommend

Similar here. Business Information Systems.

Pretty chill degree, I like business too, so win win. Have a fuck ton of free time and always have time to find a way into the gym.

where's my fellow engineers at?

>tfw EE master race

Computer science, more specifically software engineering.

Not bad, nothing holds me back, I finish most stuff easily so I go to the gym without problems. Need to work on not drinking as much at parties or when I'm out, that calls for shit gains

switch to something that's more specialized or get several internships under your belt if you want to do something in IT m8. I graduated with an information systems degree in April, and have done 7 interviews since January and still haven't landed a job, if you don't have experience your fucked.

EE master race reporting in

Nice mate, starting my masters in Mat Sci. Turned down a couple PhD offers at other schools because I didn't feel up to do five more years, idk if I'll regret it down the line or not.

Accept the one true science of geology or be left in the dust

>doing a PhD in nutritional science
>probably the second most Veeky Forums major behind kinesiology
>met a bunch of the people that do muscle physiology research at EB, they're all obnoxious chads
definitely dodged a bullet not doing kines, those people are insufferable

CS with math

>Also is it realistic to major in something like bio medical engineering and obtain a grant to create the perfect steroid?
maybe for medical purposes

Double bio/physics

Have no issue lifting everyday. Research takes up a God chunk of my free time but still most weekends are totally free after a few hours of homework

I can barely keep up with this shit. I lost all motivation once 2L started.

mechatronic eng checking in

b-bio anyone...?

Mechanical engineering master race reporting in

Trying to lift during senior year is brutal with the work load. Compressible flows, why ;_;

At worst take like 1-2 classes a semester and go fiND out what u wanna do

Electrical engineering

>tfw feedback control systems

Rare chemE fag reporting

> cock sock

Aero fag here. Basically mech with more specific upper div classes. Fuaaark

Architecture/building science

Met my gym buddy there we lift every day after class at the uni gym it's a great time

Global studies and english.
Minor in chink

>inb4 stemfags buttblast me

Law
I did have to change my lifting schedule from AxBxCxx to sometimes AxBxxCx. On Fridays I have kickboxing in the evening and if I have lots of early lectures I can't lift early enough for it to not affect my kickboxing. Just doing lifting would be piss easy, it makes it complicated to also do sports.
No partying, drugs or alcohol for me. I consider these things degenerate anyway and would rather do something more useful if I'd have free time.

Welding
Graduated 2 years ago
College is a racket to keep the brainwashed in debt

You aren't getting a grant for shit with a BS

I'm a poorfag and pay everything out of the pocket. We just don't have crazy high tuition in Europe. If you worked and saved money, you don't ever have to take loans.

Philosophy.

Best combo for lifting. If you're smart, the workload is easy. Plus muh stoicism for living an ascetic life. Best mental gains, best opportunity for gains gains.

Same, 1L here. I can't do my usual routine anymore but I still manage to do a 30-60 minute workout 5 times a week.

How do you get confidence to speak in lectures btw? I usually know the answers, and even if I don't, everytime I get called on or when I volunteer to speak my heart pounds like a mf, a start visibly shaking, so my voice sounds bitchy and mumbly and my eyes look like I'm about to cry. I'm fit and look like I should be and speak super confident but everytime I speak I just end up sounding and looking and feeling like a bitch when I mentally don't? Like my body and mind just reacts that way idk...

undergrad, and i find time to study, do classwork, go to class, and go to the gym 5 days a week for 2 hours a day lmao. lightweight

Mech Engi checking in. not only will i be built but will also build a mech suit to lift where my muscles cannot

I always had been an outspoken person, so I kind of like being under the spotlight when I do a lecture. What I can suggest to you is to try and forget the little details, focus on a friend or a person on the front row when you're talking (better if it's a friend, so you can imagine you just talking to him) and remember: you are fucking prepared, you are ready, and your arm is bigger than the head of these fucking DYEL's hearing you, so they should be glad to hear you wisdom. Go full autistic if you like.

The trick is to get going, talk, talk more, walk a bit while you are talking and make large gestures, so you can express yourself better.

im sorry for your loss

Chemistry
>Mfw juggling lab work+thesis, upper level math and chem, gym, applying to grad school and maintaining a social life
Okay but what about money gains brah

*front row while you're talking.
Fuck me.

Yeah, if you slack and procrastinate the work turns into a mountain of shit ready to enter you ass at mach 3. I let it pile while I was doing L1, but learned the correct way when the amount of work almost made me cry like a little girl.

There's a little story about my first simulated court. I was doing the paper of a medic, a specialist called to talk about the effects of a long period of starving in a human being (the case was about miners isolated from months that survived eating a faggot).

That qt3.14 came, being a defendant, and said "sir, what do you think about the long-term effects on my clients due to starving period?". I took a deep breath, looked right into her eyes and said "Madam, I am a medic, I studied about physical health, and my specialty is cirurgy. If you want to talk about psychological effects I can recommend you a number of a good psychiatrist of my clinic. Please, for both of our sakes, ask me about something I actually can talk with propriety."

Everyone began laughing like chimps, even the teacher. The poor girl made a face like she was sucking a lemon and ended the questions. I felt like a fucking god, and since then, my confidence in giving lectures shoot up like a fucking mountain.

Fuck man thanks. Trying to knock down criminal law right now. Keeping up with studying and lifting wasn't as bad as I thought it would be too. Just the social aspect of everything isn't like undergrad where all I had to do was show up to the final and got to smoke weed everyday (which I've stopped just cause)

Physics and Comp Sci

Idk its ok, I smoke weed and drink and get gains, life's decent

Who needs a bunch of money, anyway? It won't make you happy.

>bio medical engineering
meme degree

I did chemistry, working at los alamos now - can't talk about it. Seriously though, you should get out of bio that field is completely oversaturated.

How does it feel to be sub 90 IQ?

Came here to post this

Geoscience is best science

Try that in america lol

honestly pretty shitty

Just finished my first year of engineering. I need to pick a major; I'm thinking either mechanical or mechatronics, but leaning to the latter.

Also I've been offered the chance to take an extra year and come out with a bachelor of science in addition. Should I take it guys? I can pick any major for it.

How're you finding mechatronic user? I have the choice of mechatronics or mechanical, and I'm wracked with indecision. I'm leaning to mechatronics right now though.

Dental Student

Yes, drill all day, lift at night and then study. Its tiring but it works. Occasionally youll miss a day because you had to stay back in the lab all night grinding a model but things happen.

Major in Law and Criminology. Still try to keep with my routine. 3-4 times a week with cardio whenever I can.

Fix your self-esteem you lazy fuck.

Double major in Law and Economics while working. I go to the gym three days a week early mornings.

That's stupid.
What could make you happy?
With money comes power.

LOL geology is meme.

Geophysics reporting in though ;)

Admin of Justice/Criminology

Gonna be a cop.

Great job security, pay for my local agency rivals silicon valley engineers, fitness is incentivised, won't spend all day in an office, plenty of overtime opportunities, outstanding retirement.

Lots of cons of course like the potential for being stabbed or shot but the job is actually less dangerous than plenty of trades.

>graduated with biology degree
>Didnt realize it was a meme until i was nearly done and it was too late to switch
>couldnt find shit for a job
>now doing an MBA
>have 0 work experience

am I just putting myself in a deeper hole?

EE here

Double majoring in polisci and journalism (I actually want to be a pilot career-wise)

what did you major in at undergrad? Did you get a really high dat score? Did you get a lot of research or shadowing hours? Thinking about trying to get into dental school

When you say 0 work experience do you mean no part time jobs either? If youre mid 20s and have no experience in anything then yes you are fucking yourself. Get a job, anything so you dont apply with a resume showing you stayed at home the last 10yrs following high school.

pharmacology. Different country so i dont know what the dat equivalent is. Here you just apply, do a similar dat exam then get interviewed. no research or shadowing. Glad i didnt have to waste my summers sucking cock to pad an application i must say.

Its quite fun, you work with your hands so its a nice change from the paper work. Patient interaction, injections and drills from almost the first day so i enjoyed it a lot. Best of luck

I currently have a graduate assistantship where I teach a class, that's about it though. im also 21 and will be 22 when I graduate with my MBA

well thats something. 22 is still young, i started dental school then and most of my class was older than that when we started too. Its not too late to consider further education. Please tell me you at least maintained a good gpa even though you realised you disliked it? No point burning the bridge

i liked biology, thats why i majored in it. I couldnt find a job so i thought an MBA would be a good way to launch myself into a good paying career

I graduated with a 4.0 GPA and I was in the honors program, and I don't see why I wont also get a 4 for the master program since business school is a fucking joke compared to science in terms of courseload

too be honest I just want to get the fuck out of school and start living already.

>too be honest I just want to get the fuck out of school and start living already.

Fuck do i know that feeling. Will be 26 when i finally begin life (plus debt). If you feel that way now then maybe further study isnt for you. You seem capable so why havent you applied yourself into looking for internships? No point being capable if you never do anything mate cmon. Knew an absolute genius back in school who would cruise through exams, nice guy but never applied himself, thought lift would just kinda happen. Now the hard working mediocre mark kid from school has surpassed him in life. Brains aint worth shit if you dont use em. Go apply for internships, biology and MBA, work for a pharmaceutical? fuck do i know

Just because you're achieving a high degree a year or 2 before your peers, doesn't make you stand out.

Medicine
Haven't been to gym in weeks fml

Scholarships motherfucka. I'm wrapping up my bach degree this fall, and will graduate with no debt and money in the bank.
Also,
>White
>Male
>Middle Class so no grants
I had to work to get these scholarships.

Fucking lazy fags who'd rather fill out a loan application than write an essay are why tuition skyrocketed and people are taking student loan debt to the grave.

reminder that if your degree is not in sciences or math, you're a brainlet loser and should drop out.

About to start my masters in applied statistics, not the most fit related major but I'm the only guy in the area at my uni that lifts so idgaf

Just started the second year of philosophy. Additionally, I study psychology and some other subject I haven't picket yet. I'm gonna be a high school teacher.

Vast majority of scholarships goes to whites, and the hard work you put in was probably nothing compared to the hardwork an asian put in while trying to get your scholarships.

But you know, american colleges would be mostly asian, middle eastern, eurotrash and nigerian, with a few nigh autistic homeschooled american kids here and there if it was a pure and true meritocracy

>going to uni for meme subjects
why?

You gotta dedicate yourself to what you're good at. I've always liked thinking about deep and complex things most people don't care about, so it was a natural choice for me. I don't know what I would study, if I didn't study philosophy.

That being said, I can fully understand why many people are somewhat scornful towards philosophy and its scholars, and I can somewhat sympathize with them. Some of the students are very lazy posers, who are not really that interested in philosophy. There are a lot of pretentious and complacent people, even among the non-lazy, who just like to feel superior to the fatuous masses, who in their mind don't understand anything about the world. I don't want to be like that. I want to become a teacher, so that I'll actually have a real job, and I won't just spend my life and tax-payers' money overanalyzing the words of men who died a long time ago.

Who /PHYSICAL THERAPIST/ here?

Human resource management, euro fag tho. Lift 5x and play rugby 3x. Easy life lads.

>he's going to smell peoples phlegm for a living

I'm so sorry

explain pls

EE (first degree )
Counter terrorism (2nd degree)

Probably will end up not needing it

unless it's a top 15 MBA, it's 100% a waste.

EE as well but just started working out a little less than a month ago using equipment bought from amazon because too autistic to go to real gym. My focus is in RF and going to senior year.

that.... that is not what a physio does...

Accounting. I get up early to lift and run. I have a bar setup and rack in my basement, so I probably don't count for this.

you a jew or chink?

>business school
>study 16 hours/month to pass
>fuck around in student societies instead

Good life.

>business degree
>good life
lol pick one

Different user but doing tron down in Sydney, its definitely the most full on engineering major by far but also one of the most interesting because it deviates so much. Lots of robots tho and I've heard lots of different things about the employability

You're actually right as I have no idea what I'll do afterwards.

Civil engineering famalam
