Sedentary people who attempt to become powerlifters overnight never develop in that way. I can pull 405 but my lower back above my hips is literally skin and bone.

at least in my experience, if I train to failure and high weights, i get the good old peak muscle mass, but training low weight and a massive number of reps is what fills the voids, giving me a massive pump
