Bought a $10 ab roller from the chinks and it's great for maintaining abs. When I don't have time to go to the gym and have to take a dreaded rest day I can still maintain pretty well by doing a fuckload of ab rolls

When doing oblique work, shit like planks, I only ever feel my right oblique. It's also way more defined.

You probably just have a natural imbalance. Do some side planks on both sides and it will even out over time.

Your forearms should burn but your abs should definitely be feeling the tension - you may just not be straightening out enough/your torso may be too low.

I was just reading (watching a video?) someone's testing stating that planks aren't really helpful unless you push your elbows out to the point that your face is over them.
