I have nothing but anecdotal evidence but when I was cutting in the spring I lost like 10 pounds over the course of a week and a half or so just by doing the following:

Minor Jog immediately upon waking up before food. No more than a mile at an easy pace, anything else it way to exhausting. I avoided all breads and starches, mainly eating various forms of omelets, greek yogurt, apples bananas, peaches, and other fruit. Main meals were usually salads and some form of chicken or steak. After a day of classes I'd go to the rec center at night and run another mile or so and then do either light lifting or half an hour or so of basketball. People were absolutely shocked at my weight loss. I wasn't a big guy before that, I was builtfat that most people would describe as "stocky", but after that I was absolutely shredded. I would totally recommend giving this a shot. I was amazed.

there is no faster or more muscle preserving method of weight loss than straight up fasting. Keto is a meme, that's just fasting for pussies. Spend 2 week of keto eating ungodly amounts of estrogen and saturated fat while paying out the ass for it. Or you can spend 5 days eating nothing for free and lose just as much weight if not more without the estrogen.
