I was gonna make a thread about it, but maybe I should post here instead first.

I weigh 149, 5'7, up from a skelly 116lbs. I want to gain more weight (maybe up to 155 as a short term goal) and MFP says I need 2860, IIFYM says 2780. How accurate are these? Seems a bit much, but I haven't been gaining so I guess I should try it out, huh

are you sure about that? I've lost over 140lbs on a high carb diet within 10 months and I ate only a 250kcal deficit

Cutting at 1650kcal a day, lifting 3 times a week, 20-30 min of cardio on non-lifting days. TDEE is around 2300-2350kcal (182cm 80kg, started at 84kg).

I eat whatever as long as I hit 150g of protons a day and stay under 1650kcal.

bro when you are so fat that you have a 140 pounds to lose, you can legit just eat less and the weight will pour off.

When you are lean allready and trying to lose that last 10 pounds to be perfect. Low carb keto is the way to go.

Cutting. A 1/4 cup bag of peanuts in the morning with coffee. Chipotle salad no dressing double chicken pico spicy sour cream cheese guac for lunch and two scoops after lifting. 70 of my week I eat this, I'd say. Taking multivitamin, zinc, vitamin d, magnesium and potassium.

70% of my week, I mean

Breakfast, gainshake:
- 18oz whole milk
- banana
- 2 spoonfuls peanut butter
- one scoop of protein powder
- two scoops of powdered oats

Lunch:
- half a bag of beef jerky
- some almonds
- a cup of greek yogurt
- a Clif Builder's bar
- a pack of cheesy peanut-butter crackers

Dinner:
- brown rice (one cup into the rice cooker, makes a lot of rice)
- two chicken breasts pan grilled in olive oil, seasoned with some cajun shit I picked up at the store

Pre-bed snack:
- glassful of whole milk
- P3 protein pack
- maybe a peanut butter spoon

Well that picture is kind of deceiving. In the first before pic. I was at the end of a 3-4 month self destructive binge.
Prior to that I had been in the gym on some kind of diet for like 7 of the last 8 years.

I lost about 40 pounds from before the first set of after pics. 5 months, keto strict, extra cardio.
