I fast anywhere from 24-48 hours from time to time and i lose tremendous amounts of fat(around a pound per fast) and you don't even have to pay some kind of price

i don't see why not. just got to learn to read your body. you start getting light headed? take a break. you won't have as much strength or power when fasted, because your body's glycogen stores in your muscles will have been used up. you won't have that sudden burst of energy but you will have endurance. fasting is basically trading power for endurance.

If you don't deprive your body of carbs a man with full glycogen can go for about 2 hours of biking / running and that's if he don't eat during it , you can still replenish around 90g of carbs per hour , carbs is essential for performance in endurance sports , you don't want to rely on fat because it doesn't allow you to sustain good intensity .

14-16 hour fast everyday so i can get through training ( 2.30 hours of kickboxing daily is impossible without carbs) and on sundays 30 hour fast.

It allows me to eat like shit and drink on saturdays and stay around 10% bodyfat all year long. If i want to cut extra hard for the summer i add 3 km swimming in the morning fasted. It takes a week of this to get shredded.

And on top of that i'd like to add that most of the "fat adaptation " endurance athlete do is not really "fat adaptation" but " carbs sparing adaptation" , the only reason you want to burn more fat is to spare more carbs because they're the one who allow you to push yourself
