Is training for hypertrophy a meme? Strength surely means muscle mass, right?

To an extent. If you lift weights, you are going to gain strength and size. All different rep ranges do is slightly shift emphasis towards one or the other.

/fit’s a blue board, you’re not allowed to post bestiality here.

Well in big numbers being strong is also being big, but u can lift medium numbers while being dyel after solid years of training

Do strength at the start of a workout, then continue to hypotrophy after.

fuck off with your stealth interracial threads

Fuck off you fucking jew, you're going to the chamber for shitposting this horrible interracial horseshit

Nope.
This is me.
do i look like someone who deadlifts 6pl8?

Do not mistaken, you will pay for pushing your shit jew agenda, you scum.

Do people really get satisfaction from posting interracial threads? a sad life

Veeky Forums has been spammed by this faggot for a while now, janitors do your fucking job

Jew shit stains get paid for doing it all day long.

I bench 250 and ohp 170 am i strong enough to train for hypertrophy??

I bench and OHP basically the same thing and I’m not even entirely sure what hypertrophy is.

Also
>OP posts interracial shit
>’OH HAY GUYS HOWS IT GOING? HOW ABOUT THAT WEIGHTLIFTING THING HUH?

guess my check must be in the mail or something

You look short but at same time you're lean and deadlifting 6pl8
How tall are you?

Btw sure you look good, but not big at all

Damn, your grip is hella strong.
I need straps for 3pl8s and over.
>tfw griplet

bump

>I bench and OHP basically the same thing

You legitimately fucked up somewhere in your training.

I have a theory that all the people with top tier genetics in regards to strength (predominant fast twitch muscle fibers) can get really strong but without gainning hypertrophy since this fibers don't really grow that much. Instead, people with low or average fast twitch muscle fibers, need much bigger muscles to lift more weight, so basically the hypetrophy becomes necessary for them to lift the weights.

Any scientific user who can throw this theory to the trash can?

sure is jewish in here

Why did you post that pic so nonchalantly with a completely unrelated question?

This has GOT to be an interracial PsyOp, fuck off kike.

>This has GOT to be an interracial PsyOp

oh look a 12 year old just discovered infowars

Essentially. I never get the "then why are powerlifters not the most aesthetic" argument to this point.

a) they don't bother cutting, so they won't look good
b) they don't train for symmetry

>Any scientific user who can throw this theory to the trash can?
Not sure...
However Pavel Tsatsouline talks a lot about something on these lines on his book Power To The People, but regarding myofibrilar/sarcoplasmic hypertrophy, instead on quantities of fast twitch muscle fibers, ie the same idea but on a more elemental lv...
