Now this does not mean 8s are worthless, far from it. It just means in the shortterm youll be worse at higher intensities with lower reps. How do you avoid this? You peak; do 8s now, next time go over to 6s, then 4s, then 2s, then 1s.

yeah that is true, your muscles just dont know at that point how to be strong efficiently at max attempts, so after you build a certain amount of muscle to your desire you just peak and reset

Peaking is not the time to be building muscle, save that for your hypertrophy blocks. Peaking is more about technical proficiency.

I started doing the zombie arm thing sometime when I was doing equipped because I had to be serious with my set up.

But that said, I don't like doing gimmicks. For me, it's all about setting up quickly so you still retain that hype of a real deadlift set, but taking just long enough to set your lats right.

I was using ss setup - hinge back until I can grab bar, than shins to bar (knees foward a bit) and pull but it makes me have bad back angle as my hips are similiar level to my shoulders beacuse of short arms
