What are your goals my dude? Here's my story which might help.

My aesthetics (and pussy intake tbqh) really took off when I stopped caring about "bulking" and being a certain bodyweight for my height.

At 5'9" (yeah yeah manlet w/e) I was told by bodybuilding forums that I should be at least 175 lbs, some said more. Well guess what. My body couldn't hold weight well when I bulked up to that, even though I did it "clean". I thought I looked big and strong, I sort of was, but damn my aesthetics and proportions just sucked.

Fast forward a year. Now at my height I sit in the high 150s, and might go a bit lower. I always see my abs, have jawline definition, more veins showing, smaller muscles actually pop out, and it's just... better. And desu I'm only weaker on bench and squat (those types of lifts need more leverage from a bigger stomach/core) but everything else has gotten stronger just from consistent lifting.

So figure out what your goals are. Because most people shouldn't bulk if it's aesthetics, unless their BMI is underweight. If you wanna be a powerlifter and get strong and not care, power to you go for it.

I am looking for aesthetics, mostly, but I also don't want to be a relative weakling. I'm doing a 4 day Upper/Lower split that's been working well for me. I think I'll slow bulk up to no more than 165 before the next cut. My previous cut (from almost 175 lbs) sucked hard and I also lost some muscle mass.

6ft 170, I've been lifting off and on for a while. About six months ago I bulked from 150 to 170 too quickly and now I'm fluffy and I absolutely hate it. I'm probably going to cut to 160. Any advice is appreciated! Besides needing to train legs, it's a work in progress

I've been lifting for about a year now. Had to do surgery in jan, so had to rest for a couple months, but i'm lifting 5 times a week now.
Started at 154lb skinnyfat and 'bulked' to 176lbs., but I know i'm not even dyel yet.

Any advice? What should I focus on?
