I think that when you start to work out
what basically happens is that you'll exhaust yourself of energy, which means that you go to bed earlier, you eat more before and after gym - so you get a steady nutritional intake, good sleep which makes you clearer in the head and the exercise make you produce more positive hormones
It gives you a sense of responsibility, you see things "more clearly" and you see everything going on around you becoming more ridiculous with all these movements etc going on

Where it clashes is that if you don't have that well of an education when it comes to linguistics, you have all these correct ideas, but you have a hard time to project them onto the world
