Walk in and ask how you would go about getting a membership

If you go to a big gym, sometimes you don't even need to pay you are just able to walk in and no one bats an eye.

Try to find a locker with as many free lockers around it as possible
If other people in changing room, pretend to look at something important on your phone until they leave
Walk around awkwardly thinking about squats and deadlifts and all those other exercises you've read about on Veeky Forums
Decide instead to just use the machines because you don't want to do exercises wrong and have people look at you and laugh
Stare at your phone between sets
Leave without showering
Stop going after a week

Walk in
Ask for gym membership
Sign up (tip the receptionist for their time)
Walk around gym
Stare at gym goers
Tip the receptionist on your way out

And after that?

I am not awkward around nude people in changing room. I don't know what those exercises are.
I am not that kind of person to stop doing it after week, I love hard physical labour, but I had to quit my job and gym is only alternative I can think of.
