Because I use chicken thighs (which have more fat) instead of breasts, the juices from the fat come out and steam all the veggies with the flavor of the chicken.

Food looks pretty gross, OP. There's lots of ways you could prepare chicken thighs. Tacos. Barbeque. Teriyaki. Lemon pepper. Roasted with veggies on top is pretty unappealing. Broccoli looks like shit too. At least steam it. Kale isn't my favorite, so I usually use it as a salad with olive oil vinegarette and chicken and tomatoes and cheese. Dieting doesn't have to be gross.
