good post

can someone redpill me on yoga? what good is it?

BRAAAAAAAAAP

It's good for mobility and for relaxation (at least for me) tbqh

how do you talk to girls at yoga classes? especially if you're sweaty and tired and don't feel like talking to anyone

>tfw qt3.14 coworker teaches yoga on the side
>talks about a guy she became friends with who attended her class

would you recommend? and if so how should I get started

OOOOOH MMMM YES

*ahh ahh hempf klenk ehh*

AYUGA AYUGA BRRRAAAAAAP

SO SEXY SEX BÄTÄNG

*spolsh splash lits lots*

yoga is too hard for a skeleton like me

every pose has my muscles shaking after like 2 seconds. exhausting

I tried doing power yoga for all of 4 minutes yesterday but I didn't like how often I had to keep looking at the laptop screen to follow along with the video. If they had a routine all on one piece of paper I could follow that would be great.

It's like that until you're familiar with the poses. I recommend skimming through the video before doing the routine.

Yoga is so fucking gay, plus you do t need to be hyper mobile to be considered "mobile". If you have the mobility to get into the big 3, you probably have the mobility you need for everyday life.

And if you can do 20 pushups you have the strength you need for everyday life but yet here we are.

I call bs on that, why else would chronic back, hips, and shoulder pain so prevelant?

There can be a lot of factors to that, those problems can arise with overweight and poor working conditions for example. Luckily both yoga and weightlifting helps with those problems.

I'm starting aswell. Kind of slacking atm and I'm uncertain if there is any real benefit but worst case scenario I'm just wasting some time.

These seem to be the basics. Hope it helps user.

Whats the best stretch for hamstrings? Too many meme-shit on youtube. Learning L-sit on rings and I think this mobility is holding me back.

Yoga before or after lifting?

search for "yoga for beginners" on youtube if you want an instructed routine.

i have these basic vinyasa sun salutations as well that are good to learn for breath control if that's of any interest.

Hey thanks, I'm going to try them tommorow.

*BRRRAP*

you don't lol

post body you fruitcake

I like that Veeky Forums has yoga threads now

21 year old male yoga teacher here (pic related)

ask me anything

after

see
having trouble extending(straightening) knee

imagine fucking her right there with her feet pressing against your chest

You bang any of your students?

Wanna take up yoga, can choose between a Hatha and Vinyasa class. What does Veeky Forums recommend? Also, where are more cuties?

forward fold
seated forward fold
prasarita (wide-legged forward fold)
wide-legged seated forward fold
hurdler's stretch
runner's lunge (w/ knee down)
big toe hold

that's all I can think of right now

basically if you practice power vinyasa you do like a million forward folds in a class so your hamstrings will open up over time

Doing Yoga and Pilates classes 3-4 times a week. It's been great since I get smashed in jiu- jitsu at least 6 hours a week. I was having a lot of hip, and back, issues from aggressive players inside my guard. It's really helped with my flexibility and stability for BJJ and strength.

Fucking do your mobility work.

vinyasa definitely

way more active and less mumbo jumbo type stuff

no, but if one of them wanted to bang me and I found them attractive I wouldn't turn them down

I try not to come onto students at all just because that would be pretty unprofessional lol obvy

one time I did bang a teacher who came onto me though as a student in her class lol not sure if that counts

Pick a beginner one.

Yoga is the goat accessory to bjj. Barely even lift anymore.

I will do this. thank you.
every day?

If you want to remain mobile and agile in old age you should do yoga. Otherwise enjoy joint pain and the inability to get around on your own

If you can only do one go with the vinyasa. Nothing wrong with Hatha but it is a bit more meditation based which isn't for everyone.

lol yeah faggot
twice a day

Shat on mat

Yoga increases your gains if you do it after working out
>Trust me im a specialist

Vinyasa is just gymnastics, while Hatha Yoga is legit. If you want Siddhis and not just weird poses, do Hatha.

I want weird poses

My yogafu:

is she sitting like that because she wants adee in hervee

Do tim senesi thirty day challenge in youtube. Prob a bit tough for a full beginner, but he's great teacher, especially for duded

Then you're the type with the most to gain from it bro. I was similar in the first year

I would lick her feet, yes yes! :)

Nice try Mark

Does everything you can wear to do yoga show your crotch?

wouldabsolutelydestroy/10

i'd like to get into yoga mainly because my posture is fucked (rounded shoulders, forward head)

could you recommend a starting routine that helps with a weak back/rounded shoulders and all around good for a beginner? i would like to get very serious with yoga eventually since i am a laborer and walk on concrete most of the day

thanks brah

>*sniff-sniff*
>delicious

would also like to know what fellow males wear to yoga class

...

running shorts

or combat shorts

I mean just look up beginner power vinyasa yoga on youtube

or drop into a beginner level class at a local studio

been doing yoga for 8 years now, done many classes, retreats, all styles and dedicated home practise... go with hatha, learn the poses and breathing more indepth and speed it up and link asanas together yourself, you'll learn less in vinyasa and be more likely to build bad habits
ultimately an alignment class is the best place to start

kek'd

tights

yogastudio on the appstore or go to an actual studio
