I like to thank the AF for my gains. When I weighed in at meps I was an UberSkelly 6'1" 156lb. Now less than 2 years later I'm 6'2"(somehow) 200lb. Honestly the laid back 9-5 AF life is optimal for muscle gains. I never have to skip a day because I'm working late. The gyms free and right on base.
The Force is full of fatties who manage to fail their PT tests even tho ours is probably the easiest out of all the branches. This makes me want to be in better shape even more because of just how easy it is to out-do my peers physically.

I'm trying to decide which branch of the Military to join. Everyone that lives in my area recommends Air Force, but it's just because we have a fucking massive Air Force base nearby and everyone works there. I like the sea, so I've been thinking Navy or Coast Guard.

Joining the Army because I didn't want to wait 10 months for the Air Force was a bad decision, I wish I was patient

It's easy to like the generality of something on your own time. Think about what you want to do with your life and which branch might help. Also, don't join the National Guard unless you enjoy having a meaningless existence.

Well the military won't help you with that. If I were you I'd work out my differences and go to a respectable university where you can make friends and exercise your mind. But I'm not you. All I can do is relay that I'd stick with the smart path if I could do it all over again.
