Like grab onto things.

Try to grab heavy things and lift them.

The more heavier the more better.

Farmer walks

I was thinking about this myself. Where does all this “dad strength” come from, and why can’t dyel construction workers who can’t even bench 1pl8 carry stuff as easily as I can?

It’s all in the grip. Lifting irregular loads is difficult if you can’t grip them, especially when you’re used to a bar. When you have good grip however, you can fully translate your strength to whatever activity.

This and holding on to weight plates.

When i started doing those two, it blew my mind how i had lived all my life with a weak grip. It really changes things

I got my forearms big by rubbing your mums bum all day

Pavel Tsatsouline, the kettlebell commie talks about grip being essential for better neurological activation of muscle groups - eg tiring out while doing curls? Grip the dumbbell as hard as you can while lifting and supposedly the nerves are firing closer to full effect.

idk tho

Here's my routine
3x15 secs pinch block or ball, hold last set for up to 30 seconds
My block is a 4x4x4 square and my ball is a softball, hook them to a power pin.
3x15+ wrist curls both sides, last set amrap
3x15 finger curls or gripper hold the last rep for up to 30 seconds

I saw a random advice on Veeky Forums suggesting that your brain wouldn't let your body exert itself on a lift if you didn't seem to have the required grip strength, thus you needed to firmly grasp the bar.

It seems obvious right now, but shit, how the fuck I've gone so long without this notion?

>mfw gone from 60kg benching to 80kg in a couple of sessions

the movement of walking makes the weight bounce around and adds some dynamic resistance.

at least that's my theory.

Because it's not an exercise really it's supposed to be a competition. Its all about who can move heavy weight a certain distance the fastest. Its far more about conditioning then strength training
