I think the source I of the problem can be attributed to something that occurs throughout many aspects of life, in that somebody’s takes a hobby/an aspect of them and melds it into an identity. Weebs who spout otaku shit are no different from fags who obsess over the latest sportsball game and how many yards Tyrone John Tacitus Erickson IV ran in the month of October 2007 on Tuesdays after 7:32pm. This can also be extended to the retards who make the gym their identity, faggots who make fucking me their identity, tumblr posters who make their gender/sexual orientation their identity, people who make being “country” their identity, etc etc

That being said, none of the posters here are making being an annoying weeb their identity (its fucking anonymous anyways), they’re just enjoying anime on an anime imageboard, so you really have no valid complaint. Most of you are attributing to anime posters any stereotypes you have of weebs and otakus that you hear about; I seriously doubt any of you interact with otakus or weebs on a daily basis, and if you do and don’t like it then just disassociate.

The only good about anime is watching action-packed animes like DBZ. When you grow up you still like them a lot, for a large part because of nostalgia, but still you can enjoy such animes. Slice of life shit with waifu is cancer. Such animes are only liked by fat neckbeards and malnourished skeletons. This is so because they lack interaction with real humans, especially females.
