How would you feel if pay was based on physical fitness

How would you feel if pay was based on physical fitness.

Do you think this is a good idea? Bad idea? Retarded?

It's a stupid idea because work done is really irrespective of physical fitness. Communist bastards trying to regulate pay on arbitrary factors like physical fitness are dumb and need putting up a wall and shot. No exceptions.
There are many reasons why women earn less than men and being physically weaker isn't a direct factor., Though it is an indirect factor if one considers physically demanding blue-collar jobs, such as being a builder, paying more than less physically demanding blue-collar jobs like hairdressing. Physically stronger men are obviously going to endure building work better than physically weak women.
Besides, no reasonable employer is paying a woman less for the same work as men, as the image implies. It's complete nonsense to suggest that an employer literally forks out more money just because that worker is a man. If that were the case no-one would hire men and employ women, because they are cheaper.

>Hawking gets a pay cut because he can't do calve raises

Reasonable. It's not like he has his position because of his mental aptitude

>Communist bastards trying to regulate pay on arbitrary factors like physical fitness are dumb and need putting up a wall and shot. No exceptions.

I asked Pol this and they loved the idea, this would *really* trigger them, but that's not saying much because, lets face it, they're triggered by the colour brown.

How is paying people more based on personal factors they have over other competitors communist? It's the exact opposite.
Not arguing with your point though.

Why? That would make almost everybody unhappy. You think the employer likes to pay people for their physical fitness and not their performance on the job? How about we pay for people based on their fitness in the job in question? Oh wait, we already do that

Retarded half baked idea thought up by some high schooler not paying attention in class.

It isn't. You're right. But grading pay on fitness, or other arbitrary factors, in an environment where these factors aren't important is stupid. Might as well roll dice and dole out the salaries that way without taking work performed into consideration.
An ambulance driver ought to be paid a salary if they can weave through traffic and deliver patients to the A&E quickly and safely. Not whether they can squat 5 plate or run a marathon.

The whole "women get paid less for the same work" thing is BS anyway. If it were real, no company would ever hire a man for anything - it would cost too much.

Retarded. And I'm not even going to explain why, because if you can't figure it out, you're retarded also.

>Weak men get paid less than strong women
But most weak men would still get paid more than strong women.

Would it be right for the government to promote an ideal image of man and woman, and to reward those who achieve that goal? For example, rewarding physical fitness and academic success with tax incentives, or even voting rights? Even with such things like public healthcare, why should a healthy individual pay into a system that is being drained by people who are unhealthy because of their own life choices (read: obesity)? These systems are supposed to be safety nets, not hammocks for gluttonous sloths.

We live in a world where everyone wants rights but no one wants responsibilities, and it feels stagnant and self-centered.

Here's a crazy idea... what if we paid people based on how well they do their job?

you think people should be rewarded based on their merit alone? get the fuck out of here.

>It's a stupid idea because work done is really irrespective of physical fitness
depends on the job. if an employer wants to pay more to fit chads he should be able to, its his fucking business and his fucking employees

If that happened everybody would work at maccas and nobody would be a lawyer/doctor because there's no money incentive

>Communist bastards trying to regulate pay on arbitrary factors like physical fitness

read literally any history, philosophy, or economics book on the topic you mong

>what if we paid people based on how well they do their job?
....thats what we already do....you get paid exactly how much you are worth, this is America, capitalism is king

Watch Black Mirror season 2. Very related.

>capitalism
>get paid exactly what you are worth

I D E O L O G Y

Women are still lazier/less fit than men on average so they would be gettin less

Who has ever said "women are weaker and therefore should be paid less"?

These are stupid, worthless generalizations. If your level of fitness or strength impedes your ability to do your job then you should be paid less than someone who is more fit to do the job (or just not hired in the first place)

Gender has nothing to do with it

I think we should do a yearly fitness test. Those who pass pay less tax. Those who fail pay more tax. This goes to fund the NHS better and will help alleviate the stress placed on it by fat lazy greedy cunts and smokers.

its really easy to make arguments look stupid when you came up with them yourself

>women are weaker and therefore should be paid less
Lol nobody ever said that

Guys

>putting this much logos for responding for a cheeky bait

>me meathead brainlet!!
>give money!!
literal dumb fuck
