Are we mentally stronger then majority of the population, Veeky Forums?
Think about it, we constantly push our bodies to the limit, we lift when we feel tires, when we feel weak. We overcome the fears and mental toughness for a new PR.
On our days off from work we spend it lifting weights, while the majority don't have what it takes and sleep / watch TV all day.
Dominic Diaz
Does the majority of the population even lift?
There's your answer.
Benjamin Sanchez
They don't life, because they are mentally and physically weak.
Most have tried and they failed.
Cameron Mitchell
Yeah but we also fail at the most basic tasks a human can perform- socializing and reproduction.
Gavin Brown
You do understand that you’re just a nerd that’s obsessed with lifting?
You sound like a beta fag. You’re not a navy seal....you just take care of your body. Stop pretending like you’re in some special elite class.
Easton Harris
>.you just take care of your body
Which the majority don't do, because they are mentally weaker which i've mentioned mutiple times now.
Jacob Gutierrez
Just because you don’t prioritize that doesn’t mean it makes someone weaker.
Do you actually think that everyone that isn’t as fit as you is weaker?
Camden Jackson
He's right tho lol
Jacob Johnson
>it’s another coping thread
Liam Jones
from your post, it sounds like your personality revolves around the fact that you lift. you seem incredibly boring.
not really agreeing or disagreeing with you, just thought you should know.
Landon Flores
I can't read with out losing focus after a paragraph.
So no.
Logan Edwards
You are just shifting the goal post, I'll repeat myself once again. Majority don't lift because they don't have what it takes, and the ones that have tried failed because it was too hard, and could not stick to a basic lifting routine.
But us on the other hand, continue to lift no matter the day or how bad we are feeling on that specific day, because mental toughness and self motivation which you lack.
>Do you actually think that everyone that isn’t as fit as you is weaker?
Yes, unless that DYEL can squat 170kg, or pull a 188kg DL.
Dominic Ross
Depends why you lift If it's because of a superficial need to be accepted by others, then I would argue that people who don't need validation from others to feel satisfied with themselves are mentally stronger than you.
Jacob Cruz
You know whose life is hard? A single mother with 3 kids and a shitty job. We are just lifting and eating well, this is not fucking hard. So don't act as if though you were fighting for better tomorrow. Lifting is considered by normies to be a hobby, a pastime, treat it as such, because no one and I fucking guarantee you, no one from this board every made money with lifting (winning a bet with your friend that you can press 2pl8 doesn't count, I am talking about making a living out of it).
Nathaniel Flores
Shifting the goal post again.
Luke Morris
>Veeky Forums >mentally stronger I want to kill myself almost every day
James Smith
Not if you whine about that tfw no gf
Thomas Moore
Yes, but then there is the inner fold of Veeky Forums, a cabal which subscribes to the Alpha Philosophy which is ultimately the most intelligent avenue to take on within the field of fitness.
Noah Martin
Except i work, have a girlfriend, and still lift.
.t OP
Jack Russell
lol Veeky Forums dramatizing everything.
Owen Brooks
Why is there Arabic writing?
Juan Bailey
You still haven't killed yourself though, still mentally stronger then a lot of the other people out there.
It means INFIDEL, it's what Muslims call non believers.
Jackson Morgan
>On our days off from work we spend it lifting weights, while the majority don't have what it takes and sleep / watch TV all day.
and some people spend their off time posting shitty threads on retarded websites like Veeky Forums.
Easton Brooks
nigga, lifting isn’t hard, people just don’t give a fuck my mental fortitude isn’t the reason I didn’t stick with learning guitar, I just didn’t care enough
also, considering most of Veeky Forums is omly lifting because they are insecure and too scared to talk to girls, sp they spend their free time convincing themselves they need to be 6 foot 6, jacked millionaires with perfect faces and 10 omch dicks to get girls, as a defense mechanism against getting their egos bruised by girls, no, you’re wrong, fuck off
Jace Parker
Uhm, not really. I have dropped lifting, when I had to prioritise other things in my life and I cannot do everything simultaneously. After my life has changed, now that I have free time I dedicate myself to this, but I can fully understand why people choose something more...hmmm...let's say productive. Be real about this, lifting accomplishes literally nothing except boosting your ego and maybe, just maybe, not diminishing your health (if you go pro, then you will have shorter life expectancy than an average joe). I get it, lifting is your one thing you are super crazy about. I get it, I like lifting as well, but there are other things in life. You cannot come up to (I mean, technically you can) someone and tell them "hey, you, jerk, your life sucks, because you devoted it to raising 4 kids, having an own business and learning 4 foreign languages on top of that and you know what? I can squat 5pl8, who's the man now?! huh?!?!"
Noah Morris
>mentally stronger >no STEM degree.
Elijah Miller
>nigga, lifting isn’t hard,
And that's how i know you don't lift.
Easton Barnes
Didn't read, no ones fault but yours fro getting ejaculated in by a man who won't stick around. The government does everything to try and help you to make it easier as well. Like putting you on top of the government housing list, big welfare cheques and so forth.
Don't shift the goal post because you made the mistake of fucking a black man.
Elijah Sanders
Thank you for the explanation. My paranoia was telling me the arabs are trying to infiltrate my brain
Gabriel Jenkins
its not their fault. life is harder for females.
i've had enough estrogen in my body to create c cups and its a whole other world
Sebastian Turner
>life is harder for females.
No it's not, especially when they take everything a man has when they get divorced, including things like super. As well as women getting equal pay for not even performing 60% of the job males do.
Don't shift the goal post.
Joshua Wilson
>ctrl + f "goal post" >4 results
did you just learn a new phrase, buddy?
John Wood
Nice projection, lad. Too bad I am a guy, who just had better things to do than lifting, but keep on dreaming, maybe some day people will acknowledge your lifting prowess. As for now you sound like a salty fag, who got told by one too many person, that lifting doesn't make you special. Sorry to burst your bubble, lifting doesn't acquire any special skills. Actually you are one hell of a good reason, you can even be retarded and lifting.
Matthew Smith
.Better things
Like right now? you being on a fitness board when you don't lift, and sit here talking about women and how they live a terrible hard lyf ;(
Sure fooled me!
Jaxson Allen
you do not undestand. in a females brain you simply cannot enjoy or do things without struggle. life is terrible.
ive had my e2 read at 340 once and it was living hell
Ethan Hill
He is just whiny ass-bitch, because his friends still don't consider him alpha, so he keeps bitching about "muh weightz"

Well, I have a training yesterday, now I smoked a doobie and decided to hunt for retards, who dwell here. Luckily enough, I have found one that is obsessed with 'goal post' and keeps fantasizing, that one day people will respect his eternal struggle XD Come on, kiddo, find yourself some friends and maybe socialize, because if you think anyone gives a shit about you lifting, then oh boy, I have some bad news for ya.
Christopher Jenkins
I just lift brah chill lol
But honestly, it's perhaps a mental challenge for the first couple of months but now it's second nature and not a big deal
Joshua Flores
t. OP aka nigga with obsession
Easton Campbell
>Smoked a doobie
Now i get it, you're a druggie.
Matthew Nelson
>smoking drugs >thinking he is cool
never going to make it.
Me? i don't need to do drugs and escape reality like the weak, because i am reality.
Hunter Barnes
That's why every fucking week we can see a thread how some sad losers start a drunk feels thread. Cut the hypocrisy, faggot. Since when drinking is better than smoking?
Tyler Long
2mindstronk4me
Alexander Green
I was talking about myself, and not anyone else let alone the other people who post on this board. Those drugs have clearly fucked up your brain so bad you've lost your reading comprehension ability.
Luke Young
You really dont think you're better than anyone else because you lift right? Probably you and most people here cant even talk to other people normally. Mentally stronger my ass, more like a bunch of socially inept meatheads
Jordan Collins
>Better
No, just mentally and physically stronger.
Samuel King
holy shit this is the faggiest thing I've ever read. you pick shit up and put it down in an air conditioned room for 3-4 hours a week and spend the rest of it "recovering" (read:sitting on your ass and shitposting). nothing about this requires any sort of mental strength.
Julian Thomas
I lift in my garage, even in the summer where the temperatures in there can soar up to 104F.
>>-4 hours a week a
lmao, one of my lessons is about 3 hours, you must be lifting some pussy ass weight and doing 3 exercises.
My recovery is doing work, and spent cycling.
Nathaniel Brooks
oh so you're one of those "hardcore" lifters who thinks picking shit up and down gets so much harder just because it's a bit stuffy where they're lifting.
>spends 3 fucking hours just lifting
damn son, might wanna trim some fat off that routine of yours, that's just inefficient
Luke Howard
>that's just inefficient
Why would i listen to some buck toothed loser that barely lifts? That 3 hour workout got me squatting over 160kg, as well as give me the endurance and strength to squat 140kg 5x5 like it's peanuts.
Jordan Walker
>Veeky Forums gymcels think picking up weights a couple times a week makes them a super stoic monk-like demigod
I CAN'T BREATHE
Colton Murphy
>A single mother with 3 kids her fault (unless the father died)
Nolan Harris
>3 hour workouts to reach an early- intermediate level squat
congrats? kind of just proves my point honestly
Xavier Rodriguez
This but I live in Canada and my garage isn't insulted. When it gets to minus 40 and below and I have to get out the winter boots is when I regret my hobby.
Matthew Brooks
>also, considering most of Veeky Forums is omly lifting because they are insecure and too scared to talk to girls, sp they spend their free time convincing themselves they need to be 6 foot 6, jacked millionaires with perfect faces and 10 omch dicks to get girls, as a defense mechanism against getting their egos bruised by girls Ahem no. It's because we're ugly and we need to compensate for it in some way. I should get girls once I hit 3 pl8.
Charles Ross
>single mom, 3 kids
no sympathy here
Josiah Cox
meditation + no masturbation, sexual fantasizing or pornography + lifting WILL make you strong internally and externally
Jeremiah Morgan
I'd argue mentally weaker due to insecurity that drives one to spend 20+ hrs a week training to overcome unattractiveness
Logan Morgan
Considering the amount if insecurity and general social retardation on this board i'd say no.
Nathan Cox
Kek. OP, you're a sad dude.
Being better at lifting then other people makes you better than them at one thing: Lifting.
I hope your young and your hubris dies down and you see reality. You cant go through life latching on to banalities and trying to make yourself feel superior somehow through them.
Ian Cox
The truly strong don't need the validation of a bunch of autists, so no.
Camden Barnes
Indeed, about 40% of the US population is obese, wich is a direct result of not caring about their bodies.
Jackson Gomez
Being single dad of three and you would probably shed a tear for him you double-standard piece of shit. >Inb4 female I am a man, who can actually sympathise with others and people should be judged based on merit not because of that person is
Daniel Russell
No cuz we still to scared to enter a social situation that a normie would dominate in
Gabriel Cooper
>bahh da womens hard lyf >hard lyf i tells u
You'll get no sympathy from me. You want sympathy, look in the dictionary between shit, and syphilis.
That's where you'll find my sympathy.
Logan Garcia
Hey guys, I found the coolest guy in the thread.
Adam Long
Excellent reply... People everywhere are so bereft of this internal acceptance of who they are. it isn't like accepting yourself is a zero sum gain; you actually gain perspective, you gain the ability to think and live in the present moment again, to plan and actually realize the fact that you are in control of how you live your life. Understanding yourself is everything and that includes knowing that you don't have to oppress your own soul with meaningless shit that never mattered to you in the first place.
Jonathan Lopez
>we constantly push our bodies to the limit, we lift when we feel tires, when we feel weak. We overcome the fears and mental toughness for a new PR Speak for yourself bitch I don't lift shit. most of us are just crossboarders here for the memes.
Aaron Cook
Most of Veeky Forums are mental cripples. Also, unless you are a navy seal or specnaz, you are not pushing anything. You are repeating same thing all over again, just gradually increasing your weight. While I enjoy making gains and getting those mires, I don`t forget that there are more important things in life, like getting pussy, making money, having a career and socialising.
Kayden Mitchell
>Throwing around assumptions >Claiming one is doing it for acceptance and not for himself
Typical losers who yell the 'You haven't lived life yet" by some old dirty cunt.
Hudson Adams
I dont think its an assumption OP. You very clearly are arguing that you are mentally superior than the majority of the population cuz you lift weights. Which is objectively wrong.
But, your constantly getting BTFO by every reply in this thread and you keep arguing, so there is probably no hope for you.
Jackson Cruz
I'm not assuming anything. I'm saying learn to accept and eventually dignify yourself. It's a good feel when you aren't at odds with your own psyche all the time.
Jason Morales
>Which is objectively wrong.
Actually it's not, here was also a good reply; >getting BTFO by every reply i
Litrelly never happened even once, you are probably this loser here who i litrelly bent over and fucked without lube and made you stop posting;

DESU senpai being in a combat role is not that demanding You show up in the right time at the right place in the right uniform, occasionally shoot at people, and adrenaline handles most of it. If you're a team leader or squad leader, or PSG/above you make decisions, usually by the book.
Justin Wilson
this. shitty people leech off others for sympathy so they can justify living their shitty lives.
Brody Fisher
...
Jace Stewart
There are people who don't lift who do harder things than lifting, ie my mom: doesn't lift and she's a fucking dean, went to a D1R1 university too. Your point is retarded, not everyone cares about lifting up iron objects and putting them back down you autistic spergboy. To make a judgement on character of others based on whether or not they have the same hobby as you is about as high on the autism spectrum as you can get.
Eli Torres
>Are we mentally stronger then majority of the population, Veeky Forums?
You mean physically stronger.
And example of extreme mental strength is when your mother exercised her choice to carry on the pregnancy after finding out her little boy was going to be born retarded.
Nicholas Lopez
Cucks are coming out the floorboard cracks.
Jaxson Jenkins
>he said the cuck word Ah jeez, if I told you I lifted more than you would that settle it?
part 2 (semi-related): Why do people who are new to lifting love to idolize it to a point of elitism?
Thomas Butler
Lying about your stats wont uncuck you, cuck.
Owen Howard
None of your achievements matter if your body fails you. Exercise is possibly the most important thing you can do for yourself. This has been known for a long time.
Jason Gonzalez
Yeah because Donald Trump, Kim Jung Un, Paul Erdos, and Euler all lifted right?
Don't get me wrong, lifting/running/etc, are great and all but I really don't see how doing it makes you better than other people, other than having sex a bit more and being physically stronger.
I disagree with the notion that if you don't work out none of your achievements matter.
Justin Foster
Please tell me more about “combat roles”. I’ve had 3 combat deployments. Your description is incorrect.
“Desu” “senpai”? Talk like a white person. Show some respect for yourself.
Nathan Evans
>hurr fucking durr I'm gonna chew up and spit out what you said to make it into something I can argue against hurrrr
Listen here you disgusting piece of shit, either refute what I actually said or get the fuck out of my face. I'm don't know if you're a jew or just a retard but I'm not taking that bitch shit.

ITT: autistic neets convince themselves they have more fortitude than corporate lawyers, doctors/surgeons, anyone working for the big 4, etc.
What you’re doing isn’t hard. If you accomplished something that 95% of your peers were seeded out from, then you’ve accomplished something that is proof of mental strength and ability.
This goes for everything from boxers to bodybuilders to comedians to engineers.
Dominic Carter
A lot of tradesmen are freaky strong, brick layers, masonry, dry wall, movers, roofers etc. Not gym lift strong but if they grab you they have that crushing strength in their hands and arms. Plus they can work doing that shit 10-12 hours at a clip.
Dylan Moore
Maybe you're just shit at getting your initial point across.
Ethan Howard
I worked construction all my life, once i hit the gym i was weak as fuck. Having good grip strength / forearms means shit if everything else is lacking.

Lots of injuries and even deaths due to poor health are preventable. You know one of the best ways to prevent them? Exercise! In addition to helping prevent disease and injury, it keeps you happier, makes your mood more stable, makes your organs work better, promotes clearer thinking, makes you sleep better; you've heard all that shit before, right? That's why people who exercise are better than those who don't, do you guys understand? People who exercise are literally more well. You can live longer and better and achieve more by exercising.
Another thing, exercise IS a hard thing to endure because you have to endure for life. Every single day. It's the ultimate commitment, and most people can't make it.
