my granddad was the chaddest chad to ever chad, his life sounds like something somebody would make up to make fun of how old people when they say their lives were much tougher

he was the oldest of 7 kids, spent his childhood in a coal mining camp his dad worked in until he went to school. his dad walked out on them and became a bum that they would float around and they would see every few months, and his mom became ill so my granddad had a lot of responsibility in taking care of his siblings. He then joined the navy and worked as a gunner in the pacific, when i was a kid id go over to his house on weekends and we'd watch a documentary called "War in the Pacific" together while he'd tell him about all the times he'd shit himself trying to shoot down planes because "if he missed then the damn jap would start coming back around and i didnt want to get hit by no commie-kazeez"

After the war he eventually got married and worked as a mechanic , when my dad (his only son) turned 6 he started bringing him to work because he said he needed to be around men and his sisters are just trouble. sometimes my granddad would tell me dad to get in the truck and theyd drive down to the store and pick up a 6 pack, and then my granddad would drink it as he drove and yelled about how dumb my grandmother was that day or how all my granddads brothers and sisters were retarded and my dad was to not listen to them (his sisters were idiots and his brother was constantly getting into barfights that he had to bail him out of) . As he got older he lost his eye and got a glass one, which he would always take out in front of people to freak them out. My grandfather is dead now, and I never spoke with him much but I know he was a member of the NSDAP back in Germany during World War 2. One of my only memories of him is when he argued with my dad, and said the Germans never killed anybody at Katyn. I think, but don't know for sure, that he believed the Holocaust was a hoax as well (I heard him mumble that the Germans didn't kill any Poles as the conversation ended, and he was on the Eastern front).

My granddad fought in Korea and he used to tell stories about how the chinese prisoners would always injure themselves or starve themselves in order to make it look like americans mistreated them cause thats how commies do things.
