Speaking of yoga, I do want to do it on non-lifting days but all the youtube videos are of gay shit that doesn't seem focused on mobility. Can i just do a set of poses like I do when I'm stretching before a lift? Any one know any good poses for lifting?

I've been training the side splits every night for a month, just doing the position to the point it hurts like fuck for half an hour or more and I'm still like a good 2 feet from the ground

look into yin yoga. they have a relatively small number of poses and you hold them for long periods of time.

it helps to smoke weed first
