Would have been great because once he died, the world would have made the step to democracy faster.

in before > democracy > good

Which one? If you mean Waterloo, he would have to fight the Austrians and Russians next. The 100 days felt more like the coalition was trying to fight on attrition, knowing that sooner or later, the French would get fed up fighting like they did in 1814.

Europe would be made up of more or less the same nation states as today, united in some kind of european union/federation led by the french.

Everyone would speak french as a second language.

Colonisation would still have happened, however with the hegemony of a united Europe never being contested, it may have continued unabetted by ideas of decolonisation up to this day.

China would still rise to power eventually.

Something along those lines.

I'm more worried about how the world would be if these guys succeeded.
1817
be portugal
now in a united kingdom with Brazil
mainland portugal fucked
spanish america at war
in brazil
freemasons, priests and liberals start plotting a independence movement
wanted to form a goverment aligned to the French
send a revolutionary with 800 thousand dollars to Philadelhpia to find volunteers for their cause
make a plan to rescue Napoleon from Santa Helena
and after that they would proceed to reform the french empire
The madmans would actually have done it if by the time their diplomat arrived in the united states they weren't already being sieged by monarchist troops.

His puppet states would declare independence because of no strong leadership and France would face a couple of turbulent years. The result would be the same as what we have now.

Goddamn aristocrats wouldn't make that retarded 'Concert of Europe' tomfoolery and instead quickly shift to singular hegemony or dual one in international relations. The world would become more stable than what we got in history.
